is anyone from here in this forum have notice the camera huge bug in online 11vs11?

Yeah there seems to be only a useless ball camera in 11v11 (which by the way includes the classic 2v2). How are we supposed to play without the wide view camera angle?

The most unbelievable thing is that every day night there are 90 users in servers of 11vs11 and playing. How in earth they are playing football 22 people with this useless camera angle.:unsure::unsure::shocking::shocking::shocking:

Applied the update, yes some nice changes with faces and stuff

However, there is still lag in this game! And I'm talking about offline play not online.

It's not as smooth as PES 12 or PES 13 used to be, oh well, time to take PES 14 out of the drive and stick PES 13 back in.....

After the update on Xbox, matches load really slowly on or offline. This needs to be fixed, drastically. Even training loads really slowly.

Trying to edit a player doesn't work properly now. It doesn't even read your selection properly to edit or create a player. You have to constantly tap A and it eventually accepts it. Players graphics load very slowly in edit as well.

Online competitions are a bit of a mess, but still playable. After some games when its going back to the competition menu the game can freeze. Even if you sign out and sign back in again it freezes, so you have to restart the Xbox. The standings are all over the place, with people with lesser points than others in higher positions in the table. Konami are aware of that though, but still a joke. I got through to the last 16 last night for the first time - the minute I go to connect to my match the connection is lost and Konami, "after a review" of whatever bullshit, decide I've lost. Highly gay!

I've only noticed one difference in the gameplay. Attackers are a little harder to catch up on, which I didn't really bother or affect me much before, but its certainly a positive change. Its nicely balanced that way now.

Oh, and the camera online for teamplay is dreadful and you can't choose another one. This needs serious fixing.

Some of the new faces look kind of crap, but I can live with it. It would be nice to have them better though.

I gave the game this week over forty hours and my conclusion is that it's not to par.

Too many elements missing from it to enjoy a full football gaming experience.

The game has lost it's appeal in what made it PES, that was the "Fun" aspect that has been sucked out completely.

Player I.D has disappeared. Turning and responses are very poor, as is the dribbling.

Keepers are shocking and completely inconsistent.

Thanks to PEStyles for some help, but I can't further with the game the rest of the year.

I will think twice about next season too.

Thanks.

i think its a shame that there are no longer shots from outside of the box possible. its a key element to real football thats completely missing in this years pes. yes i know free kicks can score but thats almost to easy this time

I scored a few goals outside the box. One was when a defender head the ball out the box after a corner, my player stopped the ball, I ran a little, kicked the ball and went inside. The keeper tried to stopped it but the ball was too high. Another time, my forward got the ball with his back towards the goal, I hold the defender and turned the other way. I kicked with R2 and the ball curved, going to the opposite side of the goal.

Both goals where scored with Jonas and Postiga, they have powerful shot. My point is that I think is possible to score outside the box, but in this game not every player can score from outside the box because in real life, not every player can score. Other shots were deflected by the keeper or defender but I think it depends of the circumstances of the play and the player kicking the ball.

I also did long sessions of free training with Valencia, and tried every play. Shooting from outside the box was one of them. I would only have 3 players defending plus the keeper, that way I had a lot of chances to shoot outside the box.

never thought of using the R3 to shield... thx fo the heads up! What I do when I notice players starting to catch up, I do the long dribble to speed up my guy into space. I'll give the R3 a try...

Im still debating whether to buy PES2014... I've never felt so torn whether to spend $60 or not LOL!!!!!

QUESTION TO ALL : Have the headers been fixed? I remember in the demo they didn't work.

When people actually realise how important R-Stick is to shield the ball while you dribble it will become a completely new game experience for you guys, alot of my friends play fifa and ask me why i play pes, they came over to my house to try the game and they loved it i explained everything i knew about pes to them and they were impressed with the animations the gameplay pass and move and they absolutely loved R-Stick to protect the ball while you dribble through defences in my opinion people should learn the small little details theyve added to the game rather than the big massive isssues because thats all you will notice while playing with a negative view on the issues.

My Replay save data is full up i have 50 saved replays of outside of the box goals freekicks acrobatic bicycle kicks special precise touch skills that only players with player I.D can do i.e Ronaldinho pirlo robben suarez, they all have special first touches and small skills no one else can do in result of learning so much the computer arent even a challenge to me anymore lol.

That's what I mean, before any player could score from outside the box, now only a few can. If we take real life in consideration, no everybody scores from outside the box.

I personally don't think the R3 is effective as you think. I also think Player I.D is missing from the game. I've giving the game over 40 hours pre patch and 50 hours post.

I think it's a mess of inconsistency. The turning, Keepers and dribbling are not to par.

Konami took a massive risk and it has completely back fired. the edge of your seat days is gone from this title.

20 years of konami football games and this is the first time I've been let down.

When you play vs the computer do you not see them protecting the ball against like two players pressuring them? and when they muscle off 2 of your players and break into space your like WTF are you arnold schwarzenegger?! Well its because the computer know how to play the game and utilise everything in the game.

As your jogging when the opposition goes into you for a challenge push r-stick towards the opposition player and hold it, once you muscle him off do some more joggin and wait for him to try and tackle you again do the same and push the stick towards whatever direction hes trying to muscle you from he wont get the ball off you unless while your are turning and shielding you turn into him so he can stick his foot in.( this is also a gd way to get fouled by the computer) If you was on PS3 id say add me and try take the ball off me.

That's what I mean, before any player could score from outside the box, now only a few can. If we take real life in consideration, no everybody scores from outside the box.

In-reality Hardly anyone does in professional football, only prolific strikers and midfielders with technique can , the only blockbuster goals you see from outside of the box is in lower leagues with terrible goalkeepers and an average player that can strike a ball hard.

PEStyles - please use the multiquote ("+) button when you want to quote more than one post.

And FYI, there are quite a few players in the lower leagues that a great at scoring from distance, it's not just down to terrible keeping and hitting the ball hard.

pesstyles yeah I do know to use it, as I said now I've done over 50 hours.

I did do all the tutorials etc and I do think it's an irrelevant feature.

Thanks

After the update, PES is brilliant. The best I played since 2010. It is more realistic, but I understand that for some it may not be realistic because there understanding of football game need not be the same as mine! Online play has also improved dramatically. In around 15 online games, I noticed lag in only one game which may due to slow connection of the opponent.

I have tried every FIFA game since 2010, but could not enjoy and looks boring with repetitive and predictable scenarios. In FIFA, it seems any player can score without regard to their ability. In PES understanding player capabilities is key to get good results. Overall, I am enjoying and I am sure there are many others who are enjoying it too. I assume they will fix the remaining issues. I think what is actually an issue and what is not is becoming difficult with such a good game as for some of the players the reported issue is not an issue. Regarding refereeing, I think when we do not get the foul it can be considered an referee mistake just like in real football! Shooting from outside the box not just require the right player but correct balance, posture and position ....

Games a mess. Uninstalled after a lot of hours to try and make sense of it. Too much button bashing and super dextrous finger movement required (even to take a long shot ffs).

Hopefully next year they will tone down the button bashing and get back to basics.

Since the updated up to now, I had played a lot of matches.
At the first moment, I feel glad with some amendments, but now I can say these amendments are not enough. In fact, there is no salvation to this game, it's sad but it's the truth.

Year after year, we are hoping a better PES version, since 2008. But now, I can say that it's time to let PES go.

I'm learning to play the another football game and I started to enjoy.

See you folks,

the thing that bugs me the most is that the game did not reward you for playing way better than your opponent. everything seems so random, skills do not matter. you can make a damn good match, play better 90+ minutes and lose 0-3 with the opponent having 2 chances after mistakes from you. Got 5 100% chances but was not in the "right position" to score, ridiculous. i miss the days when the better player with the right skills ruled the game, those days are over
