Why hell is ball not going where I'm putting it. I get a fast break and one on one with the keeper and it either goes wide or the keeper saves it by the ball going directly to him. I just don't know, its now feeling like a bug! Frustrated....hugh.....

I think that was Konami's answer to the GK problem from the demo and initial release - just make the shots go directly to keeper.

Figures......so they actually didnt fix the problem then...hmmm

Its simple, give keepers more animation and code it for certain shots.


Lets say you have 10 different shot types

For every shot assign 5 animations thus ending up with 50 keeper animations.Lower skilled keepers have like 2 or 3 depending on skill set. Also the jump, reach and control incorporated as well.

I don't think shooting is flawless, but in 1v1's I can get the ball to the corner I desire. It's just easier to trick the keeper imo, so usually I do that. I do agree too many shots go directly towards the goalie, but still I manage to make some nice controlled shots

The fact you can't aim your shots is simply embarrassing! It makes the game unplayable, I mean what the point in beating men passing through defences if when you get through on goal and can't aim your shots! EA will be laughing their socks off. It overshadows everything good about the game. FIFA shooting is perfect!

yeah I can. Like I said it is not perfect, but most of the time I can aim the ball to the corner I want. I just practiced against Casillas a lot. I only have troubles aiming when I run in a straight line towards the keeper. Then it is difficult to aim. But when I run somewhat diagonally I just press up or down to aim for the desired corner and R2 depending on the distance. It's timing mostly, but after practicing for hours I manage to score from outside the box regularly.
