all my mates played fifa then i said have a go at this game and they did now they all think they are the best but they never beat me but they don't play fifa any more

I say let them convert themselves. If they can't see the horrid gameplay of FIFA, then trying to convert them is useless.
Last night after playing PES4 for a few games, I wanted to play FIFA 06 because the skill moves are cool. I played with FC Bayern against Manchester United. Somehow people complain about PES being easy, yeah right. I was playing FIFA 06 on World Class and that game ended Bayern 12 and Man United 0. I only had the game on 10 mins per half. I have also only played FIFA 06 about 5 times. What a joke that game is..............

as long as there are neds and chavs they will always prefer fifa.

First of all I converted myself, cause i was tired of the same equal fifa, year after year (fifa 2001 was the last that i played). Then i converted my friends by making pes tournaments every weak in my house. They realized that pes was way superior than fifa and now they love it.

apart from the indoctrinated children who don't know better most fifa veterans are slightly thick and don't understand about football.By the way zyg the complaints i put in the thread were actual words from a number of my mates who are fifa fans,they weren't complaints from me, i know about the max drive stuff.
As far as I know, got 2 m8s at least onto it. One still sticks with his copy of Fifa 04 for PS2 and after I beat him at PES with a respectable 2-1, does me 5-0 on Fifa ... I don't PES him now lol, just not worth the Fifa assault, it's so crap!
My other friend bought PES 4 on X Box, good man! I was a convert though, but to be honest I never even liked football until 98 world cup. Then I borrowed my m8s copies of Fifa, but as soon as he went pro ... so did I! I will always love him for that. And only now, I understand why he was so discontent when I went round his with a copy of Fifa 04, it is so useless!

Anyways, I converted myself first by buying Iss pro Evo (ps1) cheap and having a real go. I played my mate one evening and we were forever converted. Went over to my bros house, converted him. Converted one guy from my workplace.
I always say the same thing when converting someone: When I was a Fifa-fanboy I slagged Iss off for everything. Even if I'd played like one game. I refused to admit there could possibly be a better game then Fifa 2000 (God how ashamed of myself I am now). Then I played a few games of Iss and I could not get back to Fifa. Fifa was offically crap.
I've tried af Few Fifas since, 2001, 2004, they have all been the same shabby crap.
People who want to play the best football game play Pes. It is the best and has been for almost a decade. No argument, case closed.

4 mates so far and also the GF. She doesnt play the footie games but whenever anyone says fifa she says: "Thats crap, you should try pes" :lol: Spread the word dear!

my friends wont even listen 2 me about pro evo because of how badly i beat them at pro evo 3.
we had a multitap and i played me and my friend who is the worst player ive seen at pro at that time(he is now a pro fan) against my other 2 friends we destroyed the 8-0 in a five minute match i scored 7 against them and abou 3 of them were 30m+ free kicks and another 2 were from about 30 yards out.
my rubbish friend scored 1 goal and that was because i went round the other two's keeper and layed it back off to him the worst thing was he nearly missed it.

All of my mates play Pro Evo, I don't know anyone of the age of 18 who's played any of the new FIFA games (post 2000). My little cousin who's 8 has all the FIFA and PES games. He doesn't like the fact that you have to update it but can't be arsed to do anything about it so I have to transfer my option file onto his memory card. This year I'm going to have my first go at patching and will give him a copy.
