You could try locating the file in Windows Explorer & right clicking on it then select restore previous version choosing a date/time before it became corrupted.

The only answer I have is the same as the one I gave above mate
This has happened to me a few times over the last few years. After losing my master league save game for the 2nd time, I got in the habit of maintaining 2 save files. These files were never saved at the same point. I alternate saving to each file in order to prevent saving the same corrupt data.
This provides me the option to revert back just a few games if one of the files becomes corrupt.
