Creating kits for PES

The only editing skill I don't currently have is kit creating. I’d really like to learn!

Does anyone know of any step by step guide for creating kits to use in PES?

I have a couple of little known Asian teams I’d like to add to my OF, so I think that’s a good place to hone a new skill.

Thanks in advance peeps.

It's really easy to use i've not made kits for PES before but made some Gib teams early and i'm pleased with how they came out.

So I've made my first attempt:

But I'm having real difficulty adding the sponsor logo without a background.

Even an image I think has no background, comes up like this:

What am I missing?

If you found the correct .PNG file and it appeared like this, you download the wrong image. The most common false people do is ,they download the preview of the image. You must always right click, "open image in new tab", or "show image" and then download.

2nd Step you must get a program a little bit better than Microsoft MYpaint. IE most experienced editors use photoshop, i use Paint.net, which is good and noob friendly. There you can check all your images. if you save them in Microsoft my paint, even if the background is transparent, it becomes white.
Here is a good example. But eh time you will gain the experience to check which image PNG will be good, when it is real with no background it loads a little bit a gray bar at the bottom of the image.

P.S.: A good site suggested by a friend in evoweb is this https://www.pngguru.com/

A very very quick example, just a demonstration, i didn't fix the details, the white pattern from your logo

To be honest , for some reason it was difficult to find a white KIA.png! :D
If you plan to make a lot kits, train your eye to recognize the "good" google png's and utilize a proper program. Paint.net is my suggestion, feel free to use whatever makes your more comfortable.

Basically slamsoze said it all ;) I just want to say that, as a (amateur) kit maker myself, I also recommend paint.net, it's not hard to learn as Photoshop and you can get good results with it (and it's free unlike Photoshop. There is also Gimp but I don't use it so I can't say how easy/hard it is).

Those kits are good for a first attempt :D Keep it going. PESMaster is a good place to start and with time you eventually you'll get more experience and you'll be able to make more complicated details and stuff (you'll learn as you go ).

A tip: If you start using paint.net, you'll see that there's a thing called "Layers". You should use that a lot so you can mess around with one thing without ruining the rest of the kit. It makes it much easier to do patterns, details and insert logos and sponsors and even easily change those things later if you need it. That way, you can experiment with stuff without being afraid of messing up the rest of the kit :D

If you need any more help just ask ;)

Haha those look good :D

I said amateur because, despite having some experience (been doing kits since PES 2017), I still struggle when I have to do harder patterns and details, and I also don't make some details like the sewing/trimming, etc. Thanks for the support it really makes me happy :D

Yes detailed patterns kill me too. I struggle very much to add details to shorts or shocks for example and the pes master kit creator is heavily focused on shirts. It doesn't even have a default option to add a sponsor logo to players butt ( back shorts).
It could be much easier if there is a kit studio program, that you import your kit images and it will represent it in a 3D model like it is shown in game. It would be much easier to go back to paint.net and add the extra details then.

The best thing you can do is use a blender model which will preview the kit on PC. I use one from Simonetos the Greek (from PES 2018, but the kit model is the same so it will work for PES 2019-2020 kits as well). You can get it here:

https://pes-2018-3d-kit-studio.blogspot.com/

Konami could develop an easy to use program like PESMaster. A "real-time" kit editor that would display the 3d kit and the png file (if you ever played Minecraft, there is a program to edit skins and textures called MCSkin3d that allows you to do that, something like that but for PES developed by Konami themselves would be nice) Something like drag and drop would also be cool, you could drag a png file (logo, sponsor, etc.) into your kit and adjust it while seeing the kit in 3d.

Yes thats what i need, thanks much dude. I hope my old laptop can handle it. I have some lag issues after 3~4 consecutive kits on pesmaster.

I don't know what is your laptop, but it should run, it isn't that heavy/demanding. I used to run it on my cheap 2016 Lenovo laptop (6gb of ram, i3 processor). I have a old windows 7 laptop that I believe it runs it as well (a Packard Bell, I don't think that brand even exists anymore, it's something like this). btw I recommend you don't install the latest version of blender, it didn't work very well for me, install 2.79b and you should be fine

And yes, I know PESMaster site is quite demanding, I used to have problems with it on that Lenovo laptop I mentioned
