Lies , lies & more lies

They apologize for a mistake they KNEW about from the go ahead, and now they remove the November schedule update and just say weeks...

Instead of dedicating people to make new boots or stadiums or kits you muppets put all the team to work on the transfers & stats... i doubt anyone is bothered with boots which we see during replays or kits which the community provided since the start

PES 2016 & Konami are a big F***ing scam ... i felt sorry for Adam but now i feel the shit he got was justified ( minus the family threat though probably this is big mouth people giving him shit ) .. they deserve all the shit they got

FIFA it is ... weeks till i get used to it but for sure less than the time Konami will issue the update in

What an amateurish company- I love how they ignore the goalkeeping (and refereeing) fiasco. I don't play FIFA 16 online but I had up-to-date squads from the very first day, you just download the latest squads for the career mode. ConArmy are just full of shit and full of shit excuses! Who wrote that drivel, Bhatti? / -:

They are cancelling their scheduled data pack for blah blah blah... bullshit!

They seem to be living in the PS2 days! I wonder how many 'fans' are left?

Do you mean the PS2 days when there were no patches, and the actual version on the disk was in a perfectly playable state, with reasonably up to date transfers?

Funny, I was thinking about that the other day- I don't remember such bullshit when I played PES 3 to 6 on the PC! I think the games would come out in October/November and with pretty much up-to-date squads and playable (after extensive play-testing prior to release, I'm sure)!

So, not even a 'PS2 days' excuse for the ConArmy then? Hahaha

it looks to me that they have one person working on pes and he's only working part time on the weekends when he has a couple of hours available..there's no way a team dedicated to pes needs so much time to update the transfer market, which by the way ended 2 fucking months ago....

why nowdays a company can put out in the market a game that doesnt need a major patch to fix the game right away? even the games that are being delayed because they have known issues, come out broken anyway..wtf??!!

I’ve been a long time Pes fan all the way back to ISS Pro and I’ve been reading the Pes Gaming forum for a couple of years now and following this thread with real interest. First time I’ve felt compelled to post, though.

Just read the update from Konami and can’t believe the BS they have the audacity to spout. So, due to their carelessness (I won’t say mistake, as they have known all along that the transfers wouldn’t be fully updated), we are now having to wait perhaps another month for an update (I can do most of the transfers myself in a few days) and the promise of new game content is now being pushed back to make way for something that should have been sorted in the first place. Not to mention the total lack of addressing the issues with GKs and Refs.

Got me thinking; we are the people that pay Konami’s (and Adam Bhatti’s) wages. We’re the people that loyally purchase the game every year. As a group, we have the power to effect change if we want it. PES is clearly lucrative to Konami, but their post release support is abysmal. I wonder what medium might work best, either a petition, a pledge to not buy next years’ game or something similar. If all the people who read PES forums got together to show our dissatisfaction rather than just taking pot-shots at Konami and Bhatti on Twitter, we might get listened to.

Anyone got any ideas how we might put our (united) dissatisfaction before Konami?

I'm not a pes fan now.

Fuck Konami, fuck the transfers. In the game there is no goalkeepers and there is no referees, no fouls. Fuck you Konami. You won't even seen my money again. I won't play this shit again. That's all for me.

Am I missing something in that 'apology'? There seems to be nothing that actually says WHY this mistake has happened. Just some nonsense about online and offline database being separate. Part of dealing with complaints is to assure the consumer what has gone wrong so we can have confidence that it wont happen again. Not hollow promises.

At least we know what Konami mean by ASAP. No specific time and delaying a due update.

Adam Bhatti is a disgrace IMO, I've spoken to many on twitter who have been blocked by him for complaining in a civil manner. This whole death threat focus is a distractionary tactic. I now view him as an evil Mr. Bean.

I'm done with PES as well, they've treated us with the customer service equivalent of first ditching us with an evil scientist, then when saying they will help us, unveiling that we will be the middle of a human centipede.

At least I know what to ask for for Xmas. FIFA 16. That's the only thing I can do.

And of course no mention of Gks or referees. But new boots! New Boots!! I have no cutscenes on PS3 so brilliant addition. Bravo Pes. Bravo Bhatti man.

I’m just utterly incredulous that we might have to wait until the January transfer market to get squad updates to the 1st September!!

Not to mention the lack of communication regarding what the updates will actually overwrite. Will it be faces, stats, nationalities etc. Who knows. It’s like some sort of tawdry roulette wheel.

I spent hours adding faces pre-DLC thinking they, at least, would be safe. Now I have a choice; either wait for the next DLC to retrieve my edits or add new faces and lose the ones I’ve done.

The best thing to do next year is just wait until all this shit has been sorted, before buying the game.

Well.. Not surprised at all.

Sadly this game is broken. They gonna sort the squad things up, but something is completely wrong here. I don't expect anything else.

The gameplay problem remains and the squads will be updated. That's my guess. Farewell to the good PES.

Take your point, but that means that Konami still get our hard earned money with no incentive to improve their customer service.

It's a genuine shame as I feel (GKs and Refs aside) that this year has probably seen the best overall product in a number of years, only to be tainted by the poor customer service experience.

Data pack question...

I didn't click on the update club/national squads as I am creating bundesliga etc.. still (don't want to lose preset faces and such) so when I am done this how can I get the "update" ? Thanks in advance.

I have seen Bhatti now starting to lay claim that that is his personal Twitter account so basically not feeding ground for PES fans. Probably best for him to stop making announcements on there if that is the case; but it won't stop him.

People still blaming Adam for this makes my head hurt....

I don't think blame is the right word. He has misled us on a number of occasions about essential features and forthcoming DLC. He is first in line to blow his trumpet with anything positive but is reticent to address anything negative and very quick to block those with legitimate frustrations. He is the master of having his cake and eating it.

That said, death threats and racism are totally unacceptable and those using it need to jog on.
