philips_99 in 2006 Luch almost made it to UEFA Cup (6 place i think). Imagine if it drew somebody from Lisbon. Or Iceland

There's even a better (or worse, depending on the perspective ) possible (yet unlikely) scenario: If both Santa Clara from Azores (1st portuguese league) and one of those teams from the Russian Far East qualified for Europa League and drew against each other... That would be insane :w00t

But right now, apart from the Benfica vs Astana match (which I believe it holds the current record for the distance travelled to a football match in european competitions), I think the closest scenario to that I've actually seen was FC Sibir Novosibirsk qualifying to the 2010-11 Europa League, and played against Apollon Limassol and PSV (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Sibir_Novosibirsk). It's not as far as Vladivostok but it's still a big distance between Siberia and Cyprus/Netherlands.

Oh yeah, I remember Sibir in Europe, that was insane!:lmao: and it actually passed a round!

But here is something totally crazy: did you know that teams from overseas departments like Guiana and Martinique participate in the French Cup? Imagine what could be!

Wow, I really forgot about that. I've read about it when I was searching about football in Tahiti for my OF, and I've seen that teams from there actually compete in the French cup. So, in theory, we can have an Europa League match in Tahiti (even though it's almost impossible in practice)... How crazy that is

Did this mess up the rosters?

Only from the "official" clubs and national teams with both boxes ticked. The fake teams rosters are OK, only they were rearranged to their default leagues. For example in England they are in their default order and not alphabetical if you had them fixed and Bayern Munchen from my OF went from OTher Europe to PEU.

Big surprise they updated the THAI League, possibly with teams promoted and the relegated? ones went to others ASIA.

Bigger surprise, Thai League is still hard-locked and unplayable in any mode except for exhibition mode.

And not all transfer are complete. Morata still at Chelsea, Fellaini still at United and etc.....guess those will be updated in next Thursday's Live Update.

I'm a little surprised at two things...
Ashley Cole not having his face scan, even though he has one in PES 2016. And, an awfully sad situation surrounding Sala...
The day he gets an official face scan, his body is raised from the seabed.

Ashely Cole and John obi Mikel both without their face-scan and thumbnail from previous games. I believe this hints a 5.0 or a 4.01 Data Pack. The same happened last year with Tevez.

i hope in PES 2020,konami will make all national team available.licensed for club team maybe hard to get but with national team i think its bit easier.would be nice to play qualifier for world cup@euro@afc etc

I wish they would fix the issue of Corinthians, River Plate, Lazio, and Fiorentina kits being all jacked up. And that's just the big clubs.

It is a shame that the kits of all teams in Danish Premier League look very generic, like Fiorentina one's, only team badge and kit logo (adidas, nike, etc), while the kits in Thai League teams are very very carefully created with even the smallest detail included, while in the same time they are hard locked-out of any Competition mode (Cup/League/ML).

For Thai League you can use it instead of J-League in the PAS slot in League mode. I posted the .ced files in the forum here and then you'd just need to move the teams. Sucks we have to go through this, but it is a way if you want to play Thai League.

A better idea, changing the cpk file removing all the thai teams put in PAS League and then add the fake ones in the other asian teams, enjoy.

My opinion is konami stop with bullshit, release a non-licenced leagues and teams or all mods, and a better editor, then we can edit everything we want it. They just should open all the licenced teams to import kits and leagues everything.

I've often thought that, just release a game with no licenses but an amazing editing suite and let the community do everything themselves. The trouble is, what incentive would Konami give the customer to carry on purchasing PES though if they could just update the whole game themselves every season? They'd lose money for sure.

New features and game modes, for example.

This would be a decent “solution”, if they have informed us from the beginning that Thai League will be locked and unplayable in ML. So I wouldn’t bother to edit the PAS, cause I worked a lot in the creating Asian and concept clubs. They will still exist in ML I know, but I want them to be playable also as I created kits, players, too much effort to let it go.
But it is good as a solution, if I ever reset my Option Files in 2019, I will do the swap immediately , I will not even bother to change the PAS logo and I will leave all PAS fake clubs unedited and hidden in ML, so maybe then I will have more images space to carry 2 different OPtion Files in my console. Even this year I have capacity issues with the availability of editable teams, cause I need both Bundeliga, but also my country’s Greek super league, while in America’s I need Libertafores clubs, plus Liga MX, plus MLS.
