database leak - darknet - account deletion

As a policy and rule, we don't delete accounts.

Now then, I've got some serious concerns about what you're claiming in your post considering the admin accounts would be the first to be hacked if such a leak had occurred. If you can provide evidence - such as what my password is - then I'd be more inclined to believe you.

Otherwise, nothing is changing.

Around last year June the BKA (Federal Criminal Police Office Germany) published information that they found usernames and passwords in the darknet. Afterwards they provided a tool where you could put your email address.

This tool showed me 5 of my logins. One of them was "pesgaming". I will try to find the article again and send you the link.

how do we know its really you and not someone who has got the account details off that site and logged in and now trying to get your account deleted?

maybe a pes quiz will see if you really are the guy who made the account answer these 3 and we might believe you

1) true or false seabass is called seabass because he once got so high he thought a fish was a ps2 disc and put it in the console and tried to load it

2) true or false the cover star for pes 5 was which person sven goran eriksson, adriano, henry and terry

3) true or false in edit mode on pes 6 dog head number 4 is a burmese saipan dashhound cross

It is incredible how less people care about data security in this forum. When this seems fishy to you it shows me that you didn't even check the link provided before (https://www.bka.de/SharedDocs/Kurzmeldungen/DE/Kurzmeldungen/170705_HackerSammlung.html).

If I would be the admin and someone tells my that there was a breach at my forum and even an official government statement was release - I would start to worry.

Maybe I need to accept that we are talking here about a simple gaming forum and hopefully my data at other services is treated with more caution.
