Decent tatic to defend?

Hey guys!

I am struggling to have a decent defense....no matter what player I have...they are always in a advanced line..which facilitates the other player to make long passes successfully..resulting on more and more goals against me.....:(

I already tried to keep the defenders as close as possible from the goalkeeper....did not work...
Changed the tatics....same problem...:erm:

is there any good way to keep those guys in a decent formation?

I assume you have already changed the defense line in the formation settings to 0.

Other than that, I think the real problem in the defensive line this year (and I played a lot of PES) is that the fullbacks (left and right defenders) nearly always spoil my offside trap.
