I don't have PSN+ sadly, so if someone can post detailed impressions (after the excitement has ended ) or possibly a video, it would be much appreciated.
And pls, compare it to pes 10 or fifa 10.

yeah agreed, sadly I don't have PSN+ either...and this waiting for impressions is killing me

The demo is quite large 1.6Gig, and since I live in stinking SA with caps and shit, it's not a done deal that I will download the demo. If general impressions seem to be good I'll make a plan

Right here with you bro! I need to know that it justifies the download (leave alone the purchase).

I've been reading impressions over at Pesfan and they seem generally positive. Not "WOOOW, AMAAAZING" more like "Good.. good.not bad..". Then again its still early and only the minority have the demo.

Ive played 1 game with me as Bayern Munich and the game, compared to pes10 (the demo as i never got the full game) is night and day. The pace seems slower, the animations are a lot smoother, the passing is now great (i thought id be terrible at it but its a lot easier than i thought. Still a few errand passes but they'll clear up with practise), shooting is a little off or it just might be me used to fifa10s shooting. 1st game i drew 1-1. Nicest bit of play was their goal. Messi actually dropped deep to pick up the ball off Xavi and ripped 2 of my players apart and slotted in Ibrahimovic. I scored my goal by free kick with Robben. Ill post more as I get to grips with it

make sure pes10 is 1 of ur last played games then turn ur ps3 off. it'll auto turn on and find the demo. Also set the time of ur auto updates so it finds it now. It'll be 14:00-16:00 (UK)

I played 1 game (the demo), but as long as it loads up it should class as a played game

cheers dude....ive tried all of that, and the black screen comes up with auto downloading, the ps3 just turns off. also for ps plus should there be a downloads section on the XMB? cos i cant see one

no mate, it auto downloads where ur usual 1s go. Network>Download Management

In general, is it better than FIFA WC/10 (if you have played those).

Is it really THE PES? Like PES 6?

I didnt play WC fifa, but ive played a LOT of fifa 10 and i prefer pes 11 hands down. My favourite 2 PES' were 3 and 5 and so far it kind of takes me back to them a little. Jus had a go of the south american exhibition on Professional (default setting) and its very good. I also like the default camera angle. After fifa10 i swore i wouldnt buy another fifa and I pinned my hopes back on pes, So far, im happy.

Default Demo camera is "Wide" u can choose from "Wide" & "Normal Long" so afraid not. i kinda like the Wide though. Theres also a "Tailing Camera" option. the options are "Ball" & "Player"

Thanks mate. I really hope broadcast camera is in the final release, this is the first pes game I have properly looked forward to since pes 6 but this has really dampened my enthusisam for the game, its ludicrous to remove broadcast cam.:no:

I think it will be in the retail. Commentary isnt in the demo (like most demos) but that'll be in so i wouldnt worry its not in the Demo. The wide angle is rather good though. it kind of pans. with me only playing the pes10 demo, i cant comment on what it was like on that as i never checked, but its a really nice angle to use.
