Difficulty Selling Players??

Hey,
Im in my 4th season in ML, I have a great starting XI, but just way too many decent/good fringe players that i am unable to play often. I've put a few on transfer list/ loan lists, however I rarely get any offers.
e.g. I put Shimuzu on Transfer list (overall 85-87) yet teams go in contact with him but dont ever table an offer.
P.S. Happiness levels are pretty high, i guess that may be why?

Anyone else have this problem?

Try changing the trading frequency in the settings to "often" (think that's it, don't have English version). With the default setting, teams only buy if they need a player at that position.
I'm just at 2nd season, so I'm not trying to sell my good players ^^ Few crappy ones got sold at start of 1st season, others just didn't get another contract and left, or I released them to save money. Regarding my top players, I only get offers for my goalie. But maybe that's just because I had extended contracts of my youngsters at mid-season.

I had the same problem. Ended up releasing players and taking a hit on them. Ajax made a stupid £28mill offer for Carrick so I bit their hand off

I think it's strange too. Not once have any teams been even watching one of my players. A few times when i put them on loan/transfer list they get sold but not even my great players receives any kind of attention from other clubs which i find unrealistic, since they would be insanely cheap to sign.

ever since they took out scouting for players stats no one is actually thinking about buying my players. i'm not gonna change it too high because it'll be crazier than the transfer window 2 months ago

Selling/buying players is definitely a pain. I've put virtually my whole squad on the transfer list and if I'm lucky there might be 2 or 3 players that have offers. I remember in PES 5 or 6 where there were loads of offers at once for one player and you had the choice of picking. Buying players is difficult too, but I'm playing more games to buy that expansion mode when i get enough points.

So for a realistic level of transfers, is the general feeling that 'high' frequency is the way to go? It seemed on PES 2011 that 'normal' gave you what at least felt like a realistic number of transfers between CPU clubs, and offers to your own team.

I intend to let the scout handle my transfers, so it is fairly important to get the level right!

Can you choose who to sign, or does the scout handle everything regarding transfers?

The scout handles everything! Just a personal preference, I enjoy utilising a squad put together by the scout, and waiting to see who he signs. Its not most peoples idea of fun though!

hi all im new here :)

I have the opposite problem!
Im in the 2nd season, in D1, and I tried to hire 2 players from D2.
they refuse to join my team because they want to have a protagonist role
but with my team they will have
what I have to do, hire a new talent scout? I have the complete control of everything, It just come up to me that the scout will care about the details, when i place an offer to a player.

has anyone try the "just me" in market activity level?
and is the package that say can make transfer easier at extra content really worked?

Little if any, tried signing Hazard for two seasons now, not even a chance.

so the package isn't really helping?
Cos i don't use it and I can easily bought Ganso 7m USD(although Fellaini,Goetze,Eriksen failed), i'm afraid if i used it it become too much easy and make an unrealistic transfer (ex : Messi to Parma)

I set Transfer Frequency to Normal and Xavi went to Manchester United in my Master League save

That package just increases your chances, it doesn't give you 100% certainty ;) Of course, as a "minor" team you won't be able to sign Messi calibre (you don't even have the money), but other good players that might get higher chances to play in your team than they'd get on their current, or those that might see more opportunities (EuroLeague, CL,..) will most likely accept a transfer (like Ganso).

And for the selling part: Your players won't be interesting for other teams as long as they
a) aren't good players (high rating), or
b) haven't played a successful (semi) season to "showoff" ^^
After season 1 all of my top players got offers I had to decline (i.e. Shimizu 2.5mil, been voted into the Top11-Team of the season)

So have you found that medium transfer frequency essentially about the same as it was in PES 2011? i.e. the CPU is participating in quite a lot of deals, including big transfers?

I am aprehensive about starting my master league without sorting out all the settings. I hate having to restart because I messed one up!!! :)

No, it's not the same, it's less than in 2011..or should I say "more reasonable"?!
If you set transfer frequency to "high" in 2011, then every team transfered randomly and really aggressively, trading top players each season, just crazy. Now it's better, teams don't just give away their best players (most valuable to them) easily. So of course you have less trades in total, but if your players become successful, you will still get offers from a few clubs for each (and of course, bigger teams make better offers ^^).
