I actually don't think it's realistic at all, that ONE national game can f**k the players stamina up like we see in pes. I mean, how many times haven't wee seen players play national games on wednesday or thursdag night and still appear on the club squad starting line up saturday/sunday? This happens all the time - The thing is that when i play europa league matches in ML my players can easily appear in the next league schedule but ONE national match suck out all their energy.
And my players can't play 90 mins every time they get called up for their national squad - i know this because i have a lot of players from the same countries, so it' simply impossible. That's why i think it's completely shite.
Do we see Messi miss out a la liga match in the weekend because he played for argentina wednesday/thursday? NO

Well, if real players had a match the day after an international game...they'd be pretty exhausted either ;) So that's pretty realistic. The only thing not realistic is that they put the international game right before a league game!

The more time passes between international and league games, the less fatigue they are...realistic again. And here again, it depends a lot on your trainer! Get one for 1Millon or more and players will regenerate a lot quicker...again, realistic.

The timetable sucks, but the effects are realistic imo.

Haven't noticed that at all. That's why i posted as i did above :D

My point was, that if the national match is played mid week a player can easily be in the starting line up in the weekend for his club team. That happens a lot in real life :) But of course, if they place the international matches ONE day before the league fixture in pes, it's both unrealistic and ridicoulus!

@Rasmus ye, that's exactly the point ^^ Bad scheduling for the international games. Even with a few days difference they're still a little exhausted, but that's because of the weak trainer you start with. As in real life, get a better trainer and the players will regenerate faster and be ready for the next match =)

Has anyone noticed that every season new players at age 16-17 appear in the team called Other and you can sign them up relatively easy? Some of them are refurbished Del Pieros and players starting at 85 rating and cheap. This sort of kills the point of having your youth team because you can always hire those players.

i actually did the same thing i quit and have never done it before, ive not been impressed with this pes at all, dunno what is goin on with the training which is a shame as it was such a nicely done feature of the last game, the cut scenes and the same 3 questions from players gets very boring after about 4 games its just so pointless, i started on 3star with swansea won every game moved up to 4star and i'll beat teams on pssession and gameplay then theyll just turn around and smash 4 in, defending just seems to be luck whether you foul or not, and the most annoyin thing everything goes the cpus way they get all the bounces never get injured or booked its so irritatin. rant complete.

I started my ML with Utd on top player, and I'm finding it challenging, but enjoyable at the moment.

Out of the 6 league games played, I've won 4 and drawn 1. My loss came against Everton at home. Rooney got injured two days before it, so he was missing, then I conceded a shit goal on the counter early on, before Fellaini smashed one in from 20 yards. I managed to pull one back with Berba in the 90th, but the whistle went as they kicked off. :/

I won my first two CL games too, both from behind. First I went 1-0 down in Porto in first half stoppage time, then turned it around in the 2nd with Young and Hernandez scoring, and I beat Besiktas 3-1 at home from 1-0 down. Malaga beat them both too, so we're both pulling away at the moment, which is nice.

Biggest issue is definitely the repetitive cur scenes though. Annoying.

Yeah i checked and noticed they've scheduled an international match 2 days before a league match! WTF!? Huuuge joke

I'm really enjoying the ML so far. I've created Team Rocket, and I'm really struggling in my matches, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It just means that when I win, it feels so much better. I'm currently 16th I think in the NPower Championship (a few off the bottom spot). I lost my first 3 league games in a row, but then won 3-2 away from home against Southamption before drawing 1-1 with Birmingham at home in The Rocket Arena. I'm slowly, but surely improving.

I quite like the cutscenes so far. They just act as a simple and short avenue to jump into your tactics, formations and training screens. I've no doubt they'll become tedious in a few seasons time, but right now, I don't mind them at all, and even quite enjoy them.

I have to echo Top Gun's thoughts from page 1 though, in that we absolutely need development bars to see how our players (and now team) are progressing with training and matches. I've started logging down in a notebook how my team is progressing overall, however as far as individual players, that would just be too much effort. I'm positive several of my players have improved, however with no indication to say who and when they're improved/declined, I can't say for sure - which is massively frustrating as it's most definitely a key factor to the enjoyment of the ML.

By the way, who get's to fire the chairman in real life - the sponsors, the fans, the clubs governing body?

He's the chairman. He can fire you, not the other way (I believe some users here already experienced that ;) ).
In real life it's usually the board, that decides about its chairperson. Additionally the owners have some votes, too. A lot of clubs are listed on the stock exchange, so shareholders also have votes. Etc. It's not as easy as in PES..;)

No, I am the boss playing this game. I want the freedom to develop my team as long as I want without pressure of the game ending and me losing time. You can tweak ML money on pc I wish you could change chairman rating too now.

Does anyone remember that god awful PES management game from a few years ago? Master league this year reminds me of that. The cut scenes were great at first,now they just do my head in.They should have at least given us an option to turn them off .(Now someone will say you can somehow lol).

ML this year is boring. Just hop from match to match. A stupid training system. Why did konami have to change it.Communication is a big joke. Why put it in like that. It doesnt make sence. Player with a purple arrow complain why they arent picked. Come on. Stupid chairman missions. Dont get a card in a game blabla. Its dumb. Im in my 3rd season and im already bored with it. Wtf. 2 weeks and the game is dead. Good job konami. Im glad i got some other games coming this week.

I hate it especially when a player says his legs feel like lead before a match and if i don't play ihm he's like 'why didn't you pick me'.

It just doesn't make sense and it condradicts to what the player said before the match

I agree with you, thats why i keep switching from ML to BAL, or
another way round to keep the PES 12 "fresh and entertaining",
BAL is better than ML IMO but not by much.

<The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim> will be out soon, should be a good game.
PES 12 will be in my drawer for a while if Skyrim is a stunner.

Oh yes, got the game shipped to me monday. Back in holland they seem to sell the game already four days before release. Think it takes another two weeks before its here, got a european xbox.

Back to pes.
Im not a real fan of bal so cant really switch between them.
I always used to play ml most of the year. Dont think thats gonne happen now. To many good games coming out. Normaly i would have played pes in between. But dont see that happen now. Too bad konami. Next year i wont buy pes on the release date.
