Dribbling Move

Hi all,

I mostly play PES 2012 online but occasionally I like to play the computer. Now I find the standard difficulty too easy, but professional is a major jump. It's very difficult to dribble past players, yet the AI dribbles like a god.

There is one move the AI does that I don't know how to do. It uses the inside of the boot to move the ball past the defender.

So for example, the dribbler is on the left wing and he is facing a full back, instead of using the outside of the left boot to get past the defender, he turns his body towards the defender and uses the inside of the right boot to move past the defender.

Does anyone know how to perform this move?
I hope I've explained this well enough.

Now and again the AI does things the human player simply cannot do.

This includes strange looking skill moves, ignoring the player stats, ignoring collision detection, ignoring inertia and the laws of physics and generally just shafting the player royally whenever it feels like it for it's own benefit.

I cant actually watch the video you have posted at the moment but I'm sure it's just another example of cheaty AI in this sorry excuse for a football game so dont even imagine you'll ever be able to replicate it.

In the pursuit of "realism" football game designers appear to be sanctioning the existence of a cheating AI. They think this simulates "bad luck" or "bad form" or "just one of those things that happen in football" or whatever but all it does is make the player want to smash their controller/TV/game disc/head off the wall in frustration at the blatant unfairness of the game.

FIFA is the same but probably to a slightly lesser extent IMO.

Literally - Amen......

I wrote a thread on the pro evo 2008 board detailing this.
