It's almost that time again! Sure the game announcements are rarely shocking any more and they spend far too much time talking about sales and other crap, but something unintentionally hilarious always goes down.

A lot of Sony's big games for the next year or so we already know about such as Killzone 3, Motorstorm 3, LBP 2 and inFAMOUS 2 but we're yet to see them in full. Plus you've got the Last Guardian, GT5 and more to be announced. Hopefully they don't spend much time on MOVE, but they definitely will.

Microsoft haven't revealed as much for the coming year or so, with the exception of perhaps Reach, but we haven't seen a great deal of that either. Gears 3 and Fable 3 will likely be on full show. MS need to bust out the new unseen, unannounced games to really make an impact. Rare will hopefully finally announce something good. They're rumoured to be doing something for NATAL, but no one cares. Fortunately MS have another conference for the major Natal stuff, so hopefully too much time wont be wasted on it.

Nintendo are expected to announce a new Zelda and a 3D-DS with graphics that "are close to that of the PS3/360"

Valve are going to be there, but probably without Portal 2 and Episode 3. They've promised a surprise, which is anyone's guess. I'm kinda hoping for a new Counter Strike or something totally new.

I wanna hear more about,

Batman: AA2
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Splatterhouse

And some of Natal/Wave in action.

I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing more about Fallout: New Vegas and the 3Ds.

Other than that, I hope there are some nice surprises up Nintendo' sleeve.

I'm actually hoping for Luigis Mansion 2 as well on either DS or wii; it'd convince me to rebuy the latter console as I love the original game, one of my fave GC games.

Fallout: New Vegas interests me the most, if it's anything like the last Fallout then I'm sure it'll be worth every pound.

A new CS would be awesome, as would any info on a new Half-Life. Looking forward to Fable 3 and GOW3 the most though.

Mortal Kombat looks awesome. Back to basics. 2D, violent fatalities and the pit!! As for SEGA releasing the DC titles as Download titles, I am very happy and have a HUGE wishlist, hopefully it won't just be the SEGA created titles. Here are some i'd download day one:

Jet Grind Radio, Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue I and II, PSO, chu chu rocket, Space Channel 5, Power Stone I and II, Cannon Spike, Zombie Revenge, Metropolis Street Racer, Grandia 2 and Soul Calibur.

I was thinking about what my personal favourite game console was a few days ago, and it was then that I really realised how great the DC was and how it really did have my favourite games, just beating out the N64.

I do thank you for selling it to me Barn!!

Everyone should have the chance to play this amazing game:

Behold! The new XBOX 360! (which appears to be no smaller than the old one)

It apparently has built in wi-fi and a 250GB HD plus more which will be revealed tomorrow.

And apparently Natal has been renamed to Kinect.

among games in the works:

Kinectimals lets you train and play with 20 different virtual cats, including a lion, cheetah and tiger.

Joyride, a racing game, lets players use their hands to hold an imaginary steering wheel - pull your hands toward you and push back out for an acceleration boost - and their bodies to execute jumps and tricks.

Kinect Sports has six activities including boxing, bowling, beach volleyball, track and field, soccer and table tennis. To serve a volleyball, you mimic the real motion; in soccer, you can kick the ball or do a header.

Kinect Adventures includes a river-raft time trial and obstacle course, playable by up to four players. On the raft, playing as a duo, you and a partner must lean one way or another to steer. Jumping helps the raft reach special areas for extra points.

Dance Central, in development by MTV Games, brings a So You Think You Can Dance experience home.

Star Wars characters and iconic Disney favorites will be featured in separate new games being developed at Microsoft in conjunction with LucasArts and Disney.

And apparently it's going to cost at least £100 for the device. Yes, mass consumer up take will certainly occur.......

Just watched the 360 conference, didn't mean to but found it on kotaku and though "what the hell, i've got nothing better to do".

The new 360 is very nice looking and apparently "whisper quiet". They are shipping this week, (in US at least) and will be available at the same price as the current models.

Halo Reach and Gears of War 3 look amazing. 4 player co-op in the latter looks to be great fun with gun swapping/picking up guns for other players and other co-op stuff thrown in.

On to Kinect. I wasn't sold on the gameplay functions of it, felt like a tacky cross between the playstation eye and the nintendo wii. None of the games impressed me, and I cannot really see how they'd expect gamers to pay full price for any of them. The rumours circulating earlier were that they would cost at MOST £29.99.

but the media functionality it brings looks amazing. Voice commands for music and movie playback (xbox play, xbox stop, xbox replay....) Minority report hand movements.....and add to that the new ESPN partnership Microsoft announced amd it makes me jealous to only own a PS3.

Edit - Oh and MGS:rising looks like the dogs bollocks. Sword gameplay like never before!!!! But it's not a 360 exclusive so i didn't think i'd mention it.

That was the worst conference in recent memory from MS. They showed Reach, Fable 3 and Gears 3 footage and about 70 minutes of arm-waving bullshit.

I wanted games. I got a 8 year old stroking a tiger and a bunch of wii-fit garbage. E3 is ruined.

EDIT- Forgot about Rising, that does look great. But it's a multi-plat as was Black-Ops so whatever.
