Yeah, it was shit. Fable 3 looks like wad as well, I really hate the art style they have stuck with throughout it. Not enough real games, but they really wanted to stick to exclusives, and with todays climate, exclusives barring Nintendo are far and few between with companies wanting to make as much money as possible.

I was really hoping Gabe would walk out and announce Half Life 3 or something, I suppose we'll have to wait for the "was Portal 2 now another surprise" announcement they have planned.

It'd fit in quite nice with my entertainment stuff (black samsung TV, ps3, black sony dvd player, black virgin hd box...) but I don't see the point. Halo and GoW are the only games I want on a 360.

If they had bundled in a blu ray drive like they'd be umming and aahing about for the last 2 years, I would have to have put some serious thought into selling my PS3 but unfortunately I don't need one.

EA's conference is in an hour, so here's hoping. Maybe Mass Effect 3 and FIFA too.

I don't know what was more disappointing, the waggle or the fact they spent good money on having time-exclusive CoD DLC for the next 3 years.

I honestly don't think Sony's conference will be that much better. They'll need to push MOVE just as hard if they want it to be a success. Though hopefully the Last Guardian and AGENT means it wont be all doom and gloom casual shit.

Fuck me, I completely forgot SONY would be wanking over their wand tomorrow. it's like history repeating itself. Microsoft and Sony are doing what Nintendo did 2/3 years ago with their conferences and passing it off as new, but the fact is it's not and it's impressing no-one.

i'll watch Nintendos tomorrow for the 3DS and Zelda reveals. I think i'll give Sonys a miss.

The Xbox 360 Slim is making its way to England on July 16, 2010, at £199. The price comes courtesy of Play.com, and the release date was reported by UK Inside Xbox producer, Andy Farrant, on his Twitter.

In other news, the new Medal of Honour looks exactly like MW2. The beta starts next week. I say we get on it. They're also releasing a BF:BC2 Vietnam add-on in the winter.

A new Need For Speed Pursuit was announced. Crysis 2 is looking nice and Bulletstorm is like a first person Gears.

I'm quite tempted by this new slim-line Xbox 360 to be honest. Usually I don't go for these money-grabbing deals, but considering I've had a 20GB Xbox 360 for about 3 years now that sounds like a Vuvuzela, the thought of a "whisper-quiet" Xbox is just mind-bogglingly amazing. I'm not too fussed regarding the 250GB hard drive, I'd much prefer it be half the storage for about £50 less. There's no way I'll ever fill 250GB realistically, unless I download hundreds of demos, transfer my entire CD collection and probably buy every GTA add-on.

I just don't have the money at the moment.

In America they're dropping the price of old 360's by $50. So the Arcade is now $150 and the Elite $250. I wonder if they'll do the same in the UK?

I definitely prefer the look of the new ones though.

They just showed a new Rez-like game for Konect. (And probably MOVE) It actually looked like the kind of thing you'd WANT from a motion controlled game. Something you wouldn't feel like a total mong of life playing.

MS also said they're not going to stop make old xboxs so from now on it will just be the slims being made and @Dan I look at the MoH website and it said something along the lines of "come back here with your redemption code after you have pre-order" may have read it wrong though.

Ok, Nintendo just brought it. Mark me down for a 3DS.

Of course we can't experience the 3d effect but having a handheld that displays gamecube level visuals with Kid Icarus is definitely alright with me. Plus the guarantee of Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Saints Row, Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, Mario, Starfox all coming pretty soon into the life of the handheld has me pretty excited.

The wii lineup is pretty cool, with Donkey Kong Country looking great, Kirby having a very unique artstyle and Zelda of course looking brilliant with a very painting style visual aesthetic.

This shit all over Microsofts presentation tbh. I am looking forward to experiencing the 3DS myself.

Forgot about that, visually nothing compared to ps3 or 360 titles, but the nostalgia and everything. Looking forward to that too.
