Just seen that Nintendo are bringing out the Wii U. :mellow: A lot of the newer technology coming out these days such as these tablet things, motion sensor/controller free gaming, 3dtvs all seem rather pointless and underwhelming. Also, Wii U is a terrible name; surely they could've come up with something better?

Was there anything else of note at the Nintendo conference? I haven't actually seen any videos, just heard and read about the new console.

I think it's just what you'd expect from Nintendo. Super Mario 3D, stuff like that.

I quite liked the look of the Arkham City gameplay vid with 2-face as one of the main villains and a playable Catwoman mission. It's good to see that the fighting is pretty much the same as I really enjoyed it in Arkham Asylum.
