Edit data save question

Hi all, I have a small question about save files on PS4. Perhaps someone can help me out. I copied my edit data file to a usb. If I share this file with a friend, will they be able to use it in their game? Or is it restricted to my profile and only I can use it? I haven't had a PS4 for very long and don't know all the moves yet. Thank you for your help!

For PES you need to use Import/Export feature in edit mode.
But if what you mean is the PS4 save files, you can't. Each save files are encrypted and locked to each user.

That's what I meant, thanks! On PS2 it didn't matter who created a save file, anyone with the memory card could use it, so I wasn't sure how it is now. Still better than xbox though. So if now I want to install a classic patch, I can just back the current one up, and then easily replace the classic one when I am ready to go back to normal?
