Editing leagues for Master League

On earlier editions of PES I used to have loads of fun creating so called "super leagues" on ML and creating my own team to put into the game mode, is this still possible?

As far as I can gather I need to edit the leagues in the edit section of the game and then start the master league. My question is:
If I edit the leagues, start a Master League and then reset the leagues to their original setting will the leagues be reset in my Master League save as well?
