I've had problems with Firefox but the adobe flash controls. If I want to watch videos on Youtube full screen I have to use Safari. What the hell is wrong with the flash player plugins on Firefox?!

How do you clear up memory and also get rid of some of the unnecessary programs? My computer is slowish which limits my enjoyment of it. It shows 2gb ram is being used and 67 processes are running, and I'm just playing fm while posting this so I'm not doing anything else. Help pls.

I suggest downloading the TuneUp Utilities trial, and going through all the tests it offers. I used it on my old laptop and it did the job for me.

In a pickle here. For some reason, my Print Screen function for this Samsung laptop has just stopped working, which is very bad timing really as I like to print screen codes, receipts and orders and save the files in order to of course cover my back. Yet, I can't do it anymore, as the print screen's just aren't working. I hit the print screen as I usually would, but when I paste, all that actually pastes is text I copied about an hour ago.

I freakin' hate technology sometimes. Someone please, for my sanity, help me out.

I believe there is another way ... do you have a function key called 'FN' on your keyboard Thomas?

Of course, in blue. Although the print screen button isn't part of the blue FN family I don't believe on this Samsung range... unless you're heading in a different direction with your post...

Try FN and Insert. If it doesn't work then bear with while I do some digging.

Yeah that's not worked. I'm trying to get my brother's help here too since it's his laptop, but I've never known this to happen - to any laptop so I'm stumped.

I've a voucher code I ideally could do with printscreening, along with an order of food, so it's an annoying situation really.

Thanks for the help man. When I've had a look on Google, I specifically used the word 'Samsung', and was fed with 'Toshiba' results.

Holy h-e-double hockey sticks.

The snipping tool function suggested in that link is brilliant. I think I'll be using it all of the time from now on, it's quicker and smarter. Bookmarked.

Thanks a stack brother, have some rep too.

Got a new laptop today and the first problem I had was getting Norton to work on Windows 7 and now its Firefox. I've got Flash player 11 installed yet every time I go to SkySports Score Centre it asks me to install Flash player 9 or newer to view the content. I've tried IE9 and it works fine. I'd prefer to keep using Firefox but this isn't the first time I've had problems with the flash plugin, it used to play up regularly on the Compaq as well.

So, how can I fix this or am I just going to have to use IE9 to view SkySports Score Centre?

Er the latest version of Firefox isn't so great, but Flash works for me. It's Javascript which is no longer compatible.

Prehaps re-install Firefox and Flash.

Why are you using Norton?

Try uninstalling firefox then run ccleaner.
Run the cleaner, and then the registry problem fixer features.
Then reinstall firefox, and add all needed plugins.

I can't understand all the Norton naysayers, I've always found 360 very efficient.

I will give it a go and see what happens.

Norton uses a lot of RAM memory, and slows down the processor too.
Your PC will be sluggish when running a simple scan...

Also, why are you having problems with Firefox? it's supposed to come with all plugins, including flash.
I just checked skysports score center and it looked fine.
I'm using Firefox 9 btw. But like others said Firefox is not what it was before.

I had problems with Microsoft essentials before not blocking Trojans and ended up with malware. Thats why I ended up paying out for Norton.

Always had issues with Flash plugin on Firefox but never to this degree.

Norton is a flipping abomination.

I'd sooner buy a Mac than use that on a PC and I'm never going to be buying a Mac.

What is a decent alternative though? As I stated previously, I've had bad experiences with M.E.

If you are going to pay, anyone who doesn't advertise on television. Seriously, once they advertise on television they're just in it for the 'stupid' user.
