Konami should think about skipping pointless KO rounds when no matches are played.
Last week I was in a tournament with just 4 people in it. I thought, great, straight to the semi final. But no, first we have to wait 5 minutes for the 1st 'match' to start, then 20 minutes for the quarter final 'match' and yet another 20 minuted for the semi finals to start.
So after the qualifying round I had to wait about 45-50 minutes to actually play my next game. Of course you also have to be in the tournament menu when each round ends (despite there being no matches) so its not like you can go play quick matches whilst you wait those 45-50 minutes.
Really think Konami should have a look at revamping their tournament setup. Clearly, the buzz and hype of the initial month or so has died down. I'm noticing division 1 and 2 cups barely ever have more than 16 players. Especially the coach mode tournaments have less than 10 people all the time.
If everyone is making it to the qualifying rounds just for being there then perhaps only the top 8 should qualify, reduce the qualifying round time from 65 minutes to 35 minutes and maybe also reduce the entry fee.
