Evading defenders/Tricks

We all know there are quite a few tricks you can do in PES. Which does everyone find most effective?

The only one I really use is the L-feint. I'm on the wing and the defender is by my side, I hold back (towards my own goal) on the right stick and the left stick in the direction of the opposite wing. Eg if I'm on the left wing (player perspective) I'll hold back on the right stick and flick the left stick to the right

It is happening again
I don't really bother with too many tricks, unless I'm pratting about. I guess the one I use most often is the one (I can't recall the name) where you hold the right stick forward, and then press the left stick to the side. I think it's called the cross turn or something? It can be effective, but half the time, my player ends up doing a pirouette for some reason.

I don't use any tbh, rarely I give a try with the overhead flick but it takes so much time that it often ends with me giving the ball to the AI. I prefer to keep it simple and pass the ball around/run around the defenders.
