Argh...

Undertaker got a drug habit, which was "ruining his life". Since I'm only a month away from WrestleMania and he is in a major feud, I decided not to take any action. But that has just created a bigger problem now, because his wrestling stats and behavious and attitude have dropped down quite a bit. I booked him and Shelton Benjamin in a match and it was poor in comparison to what they have done before. But the worst thing about it is that he complained about Benjamin not being on his level and now Benjamin has lost overness.

I think I'll have him win at WrestleMania (vs Triple H), but at Backlash I'll have a rematch and have Haitch pick up the win. Then the next night on Raw, I'll have Haitch bury him in an angle and then I'll terminate his contract :(

If I didn't think it was cheating, I'd use the Arsenic Editor and put his stats back to normal.

I just got my best rating yet and managed to get three matches with 100% quality in a row. :smug:

I stole Austin from the WWF and he got involved with the Jericho - DDP feud as a guest referee. I originally only planned to use the feud as a month long filler, but now I'm stretching it out allowing me to save Jericho - Scott Hall and Jericho - Austin for bigger and better events. All my young stars are coming along immensely. I wouldn't be arsed if Sting or 'Taker announced their retirement as I have about 10 guys who could take their spots easily.

The only 3 guys I struggle to get over are Booker T, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett. The highest overness rating I've managed to get any them is 91%. Right now they're hovering around the mid 80s due to feuds having to end off camera, (Booker - Goldberg) wrestlers holding them back, (Nash - Steiner) and plain old bad booking (Jarrett).

Hogan has gone to the WWF. Nash I sacked because he's the biggest ass on the game. Syxx got injured for 9 months so I released him. Flair Retired. Goldberg got injured for 6 months and his ratings have took a massive hit, he's only got 54 for brawling now, when before he was 80 odd. So fortunately, most of the egos have gone. Rick Steiner and Steven Regal have turned into pricks since I couldn't send them into rehab due to them been in feuds at the time, but I rarely use them now.

I have an ego-free WCW with only 4/5 major stars over 30, and only one of them, Scott Hall, has the occasional mishap. It's looking too good to be true. I might have to raise the difficulty.

Crappy Battle Royale and divas match. I was hoping to get somewhere in the mid 90's

A few notes:
Jericho defeated Burke for the IC Title.
MCMG won the Tag Titles in a TLC match (which included the Hardys, Miz N Morrison and Mysterio and Bourne [who entered the match as champs]).
Melissa retained the Womens Title in that triple threat elimination match (Melina eliminated Natalya first).
CM Punk unified the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles by defeated Orton.

EWB has been down quite a lot lately so the passing of data from one person to another has been slowed down.

I'll try to find out what the current situation is later.

Oooooh yeah!

I'm just entering December now, Jericho will have held the title for over a year if he can make it to Starcade on the 25th. :shifty: Though I'm thinking of bringing it forward to the 15th and having him lose the title, exactly one year after he won it.

That's if I make it that far, I now have 3 prime-time shows and it's becoming a chore to book them. I tend to use Nitro for the main guys, Thunder for a mixture of mid and upper carders and CWA TV (Championship Wrestling Alliance) for a mixture of all three.

Right guys,

A real-world October 2009 data for TEW 05 has been released;

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UF5SFVCD

A few things to note;

-The first day will lag, but don't worry, it won't crash.

-The version is fully playable, but doesn't include as many promotions as a full update would. All the ones you'd use (and workers) are there though.

Enjoy!

I'll probably download and look through this at the weekend. If you run in to any problems, post them here so that I can report back. :)

Awesome stuff, Baddar. Will download it and try it out later. Need to complete some work first.

The makers say they plan to release updates every month, like the EWR ones are.

At the moment, the only workers in the game are those that are tied to a contract with one of the promotions. In time, that'll change and the database will get bigger.

Still, at least it's playable as is.

I've just put the new data onto the game and looking in the editor, it looks fantastic.

I'll probably have a mess about with a WWE game tomorrow to get myself used to everything (never played TEW before) and then start something more serious when the November edition comes out, seeing as there'll be more things added and little fixes here and there.

I'll give TEW a go later. Looked around at the interfaces a bit and looking forward to creating storylines.

Soeaking of storylines, a bit off topic, but is anyone getting Smackdown vs Raw 2010?

Looks good, but I know what will happen in a few months if I buy it, trade-in.

IGN actually gave it a 8.5 - in the last years they were only getting around 7.5-7.9. They the create a story mode gives the game some longevity (over 200 scenes, a lot of different animations, etc) and that the actual gameplay has had tweaks which makes it more enjoyable.

Also, it doesn't seem to be so easy to reverse anymore. This is something that I think has hurt the game so much, because matches consist of more reversals than actual moves. Now there is a certain time window to reverse and if you can only press it once, instead of tapping all the time. It's also gone back to one button, rather than one for strike and one for grapple.

Im grateful I have a cousin who treats SvR like PES/FIFA, so i'll be borrowing it. If you get it Joel, we should get some tag matches up and running

I hear the Royal Rumble has been tweaked this year. About time, it's been terrible for a few installments. I'll hopefully give it a rent/play at some stage, but I don't see it being too addictive. THQ/Yukes seem so lazy, I mean isn't JBL on the roster for chrissake?

On EWR and TEW; I've not played it in ages. Still only just past Summerslam :(
