Youth LEGENDS?

Hi All

May I just ask if anyone here would be interested in Youth LEGENDS?
What I mean by this is... Obviously I create faces for players. BUT, I get fed up with the players keep being replaced in squads when I do the DLC Updates.

So I have come up with an idea...
Make all of the Legendary Players 16 years old again, reduce their stats (realistically) and base copy them over the top of the Youth Players...
Here's an example:

So if I start a Master League as the manager for Nottingham Forrest, I can go to my Youth Team and sign a 71 Rated, 16 Year Old Roy Keane.

After 2 Seasons, the players you don't end up signing are released into the Transfer Market as 18 Year Olds and Free Agents. The players still have plenty of time to develop, so if you move to Chelsea and fancy signing an 18 Year Old Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard.

That sounds like a nice idea :D You would make those over a fake team and then we would base copy them over young players, right? :)

I wish that we could export players. We can export teams and competitions, why not a .PED file that we could import over a specific player, instead of having to do base copies? (.TED maybe stands for Team Edited Data, and .CED for Competition Edited Data, or something like that, so Player Edited Data would be .PED)

Sounds like a great idea & could really help freshen up a Master League campaign (god knows it needs it!)

Exactly. There would be 32 Youth Legends exported within a fake team. Then basecopy them straight over the shit that's in the ML Youth Teams. It does make Master League more appealing.

I immediately sign a 16 Year old Alan Shearer (74 ranked) if I start at Newcastle United.
Only Ronaldo (R9) is ranked 80. Everyone else are ranked in their High 60's - Low 70's

I agree about the Player Edited Data. I'm sure PES 2013 had this?

It certainly does freshen it up. You almost have a desire to switch teams during the ML Season just to sign some old players e.g. Joining AC Milan and signing youth players: Maldini, Nesta, Zambrotta, Davids, Kaka, Shevchenko, Inzaghi etc.

It takes a couple of seasons for the players to become top quality, but at least it gives you an extra incentive.

Any chance of a Nick Barmby? (preferably an older one, but either is fine - trying to put him managing my Hull ML side, but am struggling to get his face anywhere near!

Hahaha, now there's a face I never thought I'd ever get asked to make! I was a big fan of Barmby when at Spurs. His partnership with Sherringham was tops. I may do a 2 face special with these guys. I'll let you know!

Ah, cool. Thanks for your kind words.
I was almost tempted to not play PES 2018 until I saw they'd reverted Free Kicks to the old style (PES 2013). So'ooo much better! (And the pitches are bigger too)
BUT.... The Legends are no where near as appealing as last year's! Konami went all out and got the Creme de la Creme for PES 2017: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Davids, Kluivert... This year... Heinrich, Zorc, Dickel, (I accidentally deleted this guy thinking he was a fake player), USAIN FUCKING BOLT!
