Finesse shot keeps your shot down, but I'm playing as I type and the keeper still saves them pretty easily.. Can you be more specific please?

I was hoping for a easy and convincing Arsenal win today against Sunderland, so their stats would shoot back up in the Adidas Live Season update.

But it looks like they won't be :no:

Will their performance against Porto be took into account when EA update the stats? Does anyone know how often they will upload downloadable content?

Which of you FIFA owners won't be getting Pro Evo as well? I know Dan and Mike will get both, but the rest of you? I'm still undecided on which to buy (certainly not both). I guess it hinges on the Konami lag.

After playing the PES demo, I hate it. it's no where near as good as Fifa 09 (imo).

Are you sure?? I've played 2 games with Newcastle online and won both 4-0. Give the ball to Martins and run, or pass it to Owen and shoot. They are both class on the game. I'll give you a game later as Newcastle with you choosing whoever you want if you like?

This game has the potential to be absolutely class for me, but figuring out and getting used to the new buttons is fucking hell. :fplm: Might customise them to match PES.

The trick stick is a bit dissapointing for me, can you even use it at full-speed?

That was the first thing I did!

The game is excellent the more I play it the more and more things I notice that I really like, this is what PES used to be like.

Exactly what I was thinking, but surely both versions should be nearly exactly the same. I was thoroughly unimpressed by the PES demo, so I'm really considering getting FIFA 09 instead.

I have it on Xbox and it's OK. I'm not a big Fifa fan but this is a step in the right direction. 10 vs 10 online is the biggest bonus for me. It's the most fun gaming experience I've had for ages. It's chaos.

Now all I need to learn is how to defend.

Not comfortable with the 'Finesse Shot' being L2 though really. Also, you forget to switch 'Player Pressure 2' with 'Slide Tackle' circle: and :square.

Trouble with me is, because it's in my mind that I'm playing Fifa, I automatically think to do the opposite of what feels natural so it's kind of natural for me to ignore what comes naturally on Fifa no matter what buttons I change now. :fplm: Oxymoron?! I dunno. I'm sure I'll get used to it - well hopefully; because I can see myself really enjoying the game.

I change the pressure/slide & shoot/cross on PES because I like the FIFA way. Controlled shot on PES is L2 but I know what you mean, it does feel weird.
