I'm getting twitchy, can't wait for this game to come out, not been like this about a football game for 4 YEARS!

Same here. Sitting here playing it and I went "I'll stick the PES demo on..." then I got the biggest feeling of 'I can't be arsed' and continued playing FIFA.

Think it says it all.

Thirded. I haven't had the excitement of a football game release for a long, long time.

It's sad really at 27 but it happens. I can't wait to play the full game.

I think so yeah, I think it'll be about £5.99 for the lot so I don't see why not, I do generally begrudge paying extra for game content but given that you can't edit the stats yourself I'd quite happily pay that kind of money for the weekly update of stats. Especially for the players such as younger ones who perhaps don't have great stats in the original release but come to the fore in real life around January time you're gonna want an update of stats for that person to make playing with them wave a lot more enjoyable.

Just done a bit of digging and found out it's going to be £3.99 on PSN or 400 Microsoft Points per league or £7.99 and 800 MS Points for the full package.

It should be updated every Wednesday.

Apparently the Bernabeu will be available as a free download on release date too.

haha yeah, I really like the commentary. They even have a little laugh among themselves. Also, they actually made a mistake once and appologised after! Can't specifically remember what was said but I remember being very impressed.

FIFA now has all the subtlety that PES once had.

Agreed.

One of them was outrageous. Something along the lines of:

"Beside me, and I see more of him than I see my wife, It's Andy Gray, and I'm delighted that that's the case"

Does he mean he's delighted it's Andy Gray or delighted that he see's him more than his wife?

I loved Tyler's commentating when playing FIFA 10. I was Juventus against Bayern Munich (first game) and casually he says "[player] passes the ball". The past goes to Miroslav Klose who is at the edge of the box and not a goal scoring opportunity. He then screams, the loudest I have heard in a FIFA game "MIROSLAV KLOSE!!!!!!".

I shat a brick but it was hilarious. After the first few games I have resorted to the volume right down again and listening to music as I play FIFA.

I absolutely despise those goals! So cheap, unimaginative and lame it's untrue. Thats all my mate seems to try everytime he's through on goal!! Why do people just seem contempt to scoring chip goals?!? It's so boring! lol

No lol about it, Chuck. It really really ruins a good game when exploits are used continuously. Like I posted in another thread, gamers' actions can make a game enjoyable or boring.

Agreed. Thankfully the CPU very, very rarely does it against me and I have an understanding with mates and brothers that it's a cheap way to score goals (a la the famous PES cut back) and it's not done during multiplayer matches. And I very rarely do it against the CPU either.

During the demo actually I've become rather obsessed with attempting to round the keeper, succeeded once or twice but it's tricky, looks great when pulled off though.
