just started my mm season and so far its rather hard to get people to come to the spl . I signed Christian Benítez as he is pacey aswel as having great strength, got him for bout 7 mil. Was delighted when i got him.

I bought De Gea from Athletico to United for £16.5M. He's pretty decent so far. Not really signed many people though as im mainly playing my Bristol City Save. As Bristol City i bought Chris Cohen from Nottingham Forest for £1.5m and loaned Jack wilshere.

Not found any real unknown players yet.

The best part about buying in modes like this is when you pick up a youngster on the cheap, and he turns out great for you, even if his stats disagree - it's a mental thing half the time, I'm sure of it, because in previous versions if I buy a well known player, who you'd expect to be great, he turns out rather shit, yet if I buy a 70 rated 18 year-old, he does really well.

I've only bought two players for Liverpool, Huddlestone and Pjanic. Both are quality. In my Stoke game, I've signed Pekarik(rb), Wallace (lb) and Michael Johnson. All are quality, especially Wallace.

Eriksen is a pretty nifty player at a 71 overall aged 18. It's really not hard to find players though really. It's not like FM. Pretty useless thread.

Bought Ramsey and brought in Wilshire on loan. Ramsey can play decently anywhere in the midfield and is a good passer.

I bought Neymar for my Everton side and he ended up top scorer, scooping up the Prem and FA cup as well. He got an injury for a couple months where I struggled with Saha until Beckford really shone for me.

Diego Lugano(Can't remember where I bought him) is class as well. Hargreaves is shite though.

70 rated 18 year old? You play sensibly. Superstar? You go over the top and try to do too much with them.

Funes Mori. 18 year old and a 73 overall. Already has the clinical finisher and poacher qualities as well. Zigoni develops to an 81. Zohore is a prospect as is X. Shaqiri. It's easy to find players really though.

Mori never really did it for me. Then again I had Lukaku. Picked him up in the first window, I think he was a 73 and only 17 years old. An absolute beast of a player, able to bash through defences, good in the air & fantastic left foot shot. Useless on his right though.

After 5 seasons I moved to a new team but was unable to sign him as my old side wanted too much money. He was still on 73...

I started a CM with Roma. I'm in my third season now, just at the start of pre-season. I play a 4-2-3-1.

Then I have Brighi(76) who slots in anywhere in midfield. Now, on to my problem. I scored 17 goals with Lukaku in my first season and 21 in the second. However, he has not gone up even by one overall point. He's the same in every season I have.

Here is my question. Does he ever actually improve?

M. Larrondo. I got him as a free agent when I started Manager Mode with Celta. I think he was rated 71 when I got him, aged 22, and now I'm a couple of months into my thrid season and he's 76. I can see him being the next Batistuta.
