Already tempted to switch to Spanish commentary.

I came in here to post exactly the same thing Every game there seems to be an injury update from Shreeves even when players aren't injured. I had him talking about a nasty shoulder injury for Camacho even though at the time I was dribbling down the left wing with him :huh:

The passing was worse. Joel you didn't see that goal I scored from about 25 yards - I honestly didn't think my VP had it in him. I was frankly stunned considering his 'Astell now!' misses in several games.

I can't be arsed with Ultimate Team this year. Not at this moment in time anyway. Player prices are just so inflated. Especially for Barclays Premier League players.

Almost impossible to make your very own 'Ultimate Team'. The whole point of the game yet you seem to need to have hundreds of thousands of coins in order to make this happen.

If the Messi's, Rooney's, Ronaldo's and everyone else were less pricey, I might be interested.

What's the opinion of offline FIFA and how you find it to last year? I imagine online is still a hoot (despite it's painful problems at times - any disconnecting yet?), but a major thing for me is how addictive offline is. I just couldn't get going on FIFA 12 Manager Mode but with the older Pro Evos I could lose hours at a time.

Personally I like it. Much better offline game than 12, imo. But then again, I am easily entertained.

better AI, better CPU offense (shots from range), but Matchday/Live Fixtures have still stopped me from going into a career. I typically hate just playing an offline exhibition, just no point, but Live Fixtures has me doing it all night.

Going to start a career tonight however, European 1st season is calling me.

I've got a shit squad. Played Kun for several games, but I don't have the players to get the ball to him! Plus 110,000 would have gone down over the next couple of weeks, as more of him would hit the market.

Only players you'd recognise are Wes Brown, Clint Dempsey, Nicolas Gaitan, Robbie Keane and Bafétimbi Gomis.

Oh, and I just treated myself to Mario Gomez for 9,500.

Selling a 4-4-2 Piszczek, currently at 10,000 and a converted 3-4-3 Lennon, currently at 7,000 :smug:

Trying to learn from last season, where Thiago Silver was my biggest player from a pack. Jizzed the 90,000 away on packs outside of HH (before I knew it existed). Only bought about 6 packs so far, and I've had a few money makers such as De Gea, Piszczek and Lennon). Aguero was my first free pack of 24 after buying the Season Pass.

Canales only cost me 400 and he's great on the ball.

In my free pack I got some rubbish Spanish CB with 75 OVR, barely a bronze Any idea when the Happy Hours will start? Next week?

And here I am unsuccessfully trying to sell some 75-77 rated players for 350-450 :laugh: Can't even sell the Motherwell badge!

It took me 2 days to sell a Pompey badge for 150!

75 rated players will only quicksell for 300 (and then 4 coins for every +1 rating), so if anything you want to list them for 350 with 400 BIN.

If they're a Premiership player you can probably squeeze more out of them, as half the mongs on FIFA think only the EPL exists!

Its odd, the game speed is so slowed down playing PESGAming clubs, yet when I play clubs with strangers, that are mostly U.S. given their voices, the game speed is rapid. And I am not talking about lag as I did the pro clubs thread, but pure sprint speed. Makes me wonder how you guys are seeing it, fast or slow.

In any event, I started a career tonight and found that I had to to tune game speed to slow. Normal speed is way too fast. My own players stop and re-accelerate at too imaginary rate at normal speed. Rafael looks like Neymar at Normal speed. But then when I turned it down, the entire game changed shape.

on another note: Do you think turning down first touch response on your slider affects your Pro? I would be pained to hear that everyone can just shut it down to zero. Then gain, it is on User customization not controls I believe.

So far in my career with Milan, I've lost all my pre-season friendlies while tinkering with formations (including a 4-0 defeat against a mediocre team) and in my first game of the season, having decided to play on with Milan's default formation and not the highly offensive 4-3-3 I used with Nocerina in FIFA 12, I got knocked out of the Coppa Italia (first game of the seasson) by Varese, conceding two goals in the last five minutes. The winner was a crap shot from inside the area which took two deflections and trickled past my third-choice goalkeeper (Amelia is first-choice, Gabriel second-choice and a youngster I signed with a rating of 60 my third-choice).

I feel like Massimiliano Allegri :huh:

In transfer news, Flamini moved to Arsenal for £5m, Mesbah went to Palermo for £1.4m, Montolivo was sold to Atletico Madrid for £13.8m and I accidentally turned down a £6m bid for Mexes when I was supposed to accept :facepalm:

Oh dear. Now I've lost 3-1 to Sampdoria in my first league game and am about to start my CL campaign having abandoned the default Milan formation and switched to a variation of the 4-3-3 I used in FIFA 12.
