I got it last year and it's worth it if you only play UT or have multiple EA Sports titles (Fifa Madden etc). Also you'll get early access to Fifa 14
I played alot of Pro Ranked last night and it's alot of fun. People actually wanting to play (albeit very selfishly) and even had a game that remained 8v8 all the way through. However player match ratings are flawed and VP stats (goals assists etc) don't work all the time.

I do play a lot of FUT. I suppose I'd get £30s worth of gold packs, plus 20% off all other packs. If I could discipline myself not to buy packs on the side (where I normally would), it would probably work out a decent investment...

Got it last night, my God is the Pro Clubs excellent, we played 10 games and in all 10 the CPU never once left us down. That bollox 2 yard chip pass is gone and so is the brainless skating around the ball, believe it or not they are actually a joy to play with now.

PES has been out a week mate, Fifa came out today. I hope this isn't another moronic argument of "LOOK...FIFA SALES MORE...THAT MEANS IT'S BETTER!" :laugh:

I received my copy a few hours ago and I've played about 5-6 offline games so far. Won only 2 but I love it!
I have a few questions regarding Career mode guys. I've only ever played the Career mode as a Manager meaning I controlled the team as a whole. And since my Virtual Pro is always a keeper, the idea of playing as keeper only throughout the season didn't entice me. However I'm willing to do it this year. What should I pick in Career mode? I actually want to do so well that I get the chance to play for the National Team. (is that even possible?) I'd love to hear your replies/suggestions.
P.S.
And I was able to get all 3 pre-order bonuses (Adidas team, Gold packs for 6 months, and the credits). Does that I mean I can use all 3 or am I limited to selecting only one bonus?

Not entirely true. A friend got the last copy from our local Sainsbury's earlier, so places are selling out.
Oh, and FIFA >>>>> PES, so very possible

if you play live fixtures you have the ability to shut off the goal updates, just a fyi.
Took me a day or two to realize we had sliders for First Touch. haven't messed with it, probably won't.
