i agree,from a distance the players look great but close up they look like the elephant man, i do think the player models look fantastic and the animation is very realistic at times.

Go and play on FIFA and you pick alll the black dudes that play for a Championship side or any other random team and see what they look like. They and all the rest of the default players (not the ones that have real faces), look exactly the same.

Hi, I'm new. I was just wondering if anyone know what countries are in fifa 2006, actually I just want to know if Iran is in fifa 2006? This is because in fifa 2005 there were no asian teams except for china for some reason.

Fifa 2006 is a excellent game.

I am patiently waiting for PES5 which i should hopefully be pleased with more.

Fifa 2006 is very realistic game, pro evolution soccer have always failed to achieve this sort of realism which enables me to purchase Fifa year after year.

Although, i do purchase PES, as the gameplay and other features are far better then Fifa.

I agree with the first part. FIFA is far more realistic than PES. The gameplay is not very easy with FIFA, especially through passes and sliding tackles. Graphics, soundtrack game modes and manager mode (much better than the crappy 'master league') are far better than PES. PES should make the game more realistic and work on the other features of the game. WE9 didn't impress me a lot, whereas FIFA 06 did.
