FIFA 08 so far is miles ahead of PES 2008 so far. Fifa has just got more authenticity and new features like Co-Op- Playing like a real footballer. PES2008 on PS2 is absoutly shit. Its okay on the other next gen consoles. I've tested the beta version of PES 2008. But Fifa 08 is excellent on PS2 and on the other consoles. I just fear that this is the time when PES would be deafeated by FIFA.

If only fifa and PES could colaborate - it would be some game!

imagine the lisences and features of fifa with PES's gameplay, Fifa's database, with PES's edit mode.

It probably would never happen, but what a game it would be.

I have never liked FIFA, but i have to admit - this infiate amount of skills looks very good. I dnt mean like the player stops and juggles the ball, but i mean the little 'skills' you need like a good touch and a different movement than usual to get out of a unique position.

In my opinion, one thing PES has always lacked is that special feel to it, or at least it has got lost since the days of iss evoloution 2 and pes1 and 2. For example, if a ball spins up infront of a player on pes, there are only 2 or 3 set things the player could do, it would be more realistic if the player could do anything with the ball like in real life. There are so many occasions when i want a player to volley a shot at goal and he ends up heading it or kneeing it or shinnihg it.

FIFA seem to do one off gimmics in their game but this new feature looks very good and could be the way forward for all football games.

I have got the Jap Trial version of PES 2008 and A factory beta of FIFa 08
The game only allows you to play one game and then its useless

It would be amazing if FIFa and PES to work together. That would make it be the best football game in the world

I'm going to buy it simply because they have Hddersfield Town on it!!!! But in all seriousness, FIFA games have generally improved over the past few years and I actually quite enjoyed 07. Bring on League 1!!!

Does look like a step foward compared to Fifa 07 last year, the player models don't look like plastic and the gameplay looks like its improved.

The atmosphere in that new video is top notch.

You guys can't honestly tell me I'm wrong when I said on the homepage just how quickly FIFA is catching up on this evidence?
