I think this is gonna be a great game. Can barely wait for the release.
The video and gameplay look pretty good.

they seem to of made the graphics alot better than the be a pro video recently

Game play looks the same as 07. Goal celebrations look the same too. I guess that new mode of "Be A Pro" or whatever its called is the only difference.

nah the gameplay looks alot more flowing than 07 , 07 i felt the players were quite slow in 08 it looks like they move more easily and quickly

Maybe, but it looked like turnover after turnover in the midfield. And the defense looks bad to. In the Man u vs Arsenal vid. I think it was Flecther just sitting in the box with no pressure. :no:

yah Its delayed in the uk. I signed up for the us gamertag then downloaded it wohoo.

Well so I have been playing and I have to say I am very Impressed.
More fluid tot he game of course you got your updates with the players new scenes. players warming up before the game etc

and overall the game isnt that bad, loads of action, i think its a bit faster but only the final retail version will give the full verdict on that.

otherwise the graphics are amazing so crisp and clear. well done to EA, but still gameplay can be improved little more. maybe a bit more faster would do the trick.
and also the amount of tricks is amazing too many to mention.

just done this back twisting heel with cambiasso for inter never seen it before ever. its like tekken on the field lol. anyway back to the game

lets hope pes8 is very good otherwise ea are another 1% closer of getting tot he best footie game on the market.

Well you just make another account on xbox live from the united states

type in any random us address like from yellow pages
and the telephone number when you sign up and your good to go

I went on yellow pages and got some new yorks pizza place phone number and postcode and signed up easy.

We’re sorry to have to tell everyone that the FIFA 08 NG demo won’t be launching in Europe today as was expected. Although the demo is being released in North America there were a couple of issues which we couldn’t get ironed out in time to release today despite working through out the night to get these sorted.

We understand how disappointing this will be to everyone and we’re absolutely gutted this has happened.

VancouverBlade is currently over in the UK right now, attending a Community Day for FIFA and I was unfortunate enough to be with him as the news broke. It really was a massive downer for what was set to be a great day.

Anyone else played fifa 08 on 360?

Don't know what other people think but my first impressions are not good. Ive only played about 4 halfs but it doesn't look or feel any different to UEFA champions league (Which I do think is a fairly decent game) but its just not got the longevity of pro evo. Sure, it looks great but its not groundbreaking. Every year I buy fifa, play it for a month, figure it out then never play it again. This one seems no different yet and doesnt seem to offer anything new.

Its a shame as I was looking forward to buying this, but now im not sure and I don't think its worth for people who have already got fifa 07 or uefa champions league. It just seems like a updated version, and for £40 quid I expect to get a new game.

Anyway, I will try it a bit more and see if it can change my mind

Whats everyone else think?
