Can someone tell me where this shit is coming from? I could almost swear that FIFA has never made a better football game then PES, and yet half the internet is talking like PES is the one that has to surpass FIFA. Wtf is going on here? I mean for some of you PES and KONAMI fans, you should really be ashamed. One version ( 2008 ) is not as good as it should be and is pretty flawed and you are automatically assuming FIFA will be better...while PES 4's gameplay is still better then FIFA 08's.

And FIFA fans ( and those who jumped from Koanmi to FIFA even tho you know you will still buy pes ) get the fuck out of here. Go post on your forums. I'm sure you guys have a thousand forums about how good this LICENSED jersey looks lol.

At the end of the day mate, it's down to people's personal preference. I am a fan of both FIFA and PES and like playing both games on a regular basis.

Oh...& Fan Boys suck. It shouldn't be so wrong to like another game apart from PES because you think it's better or as good as.

It isnt wrong at all to like both games if they are good.....but imagine if PES had all the licenses....it would not even be a debate as to which game is better. People only jump to FIFA so that they can use the real kits. the gameplay sucks in fifa.

Not necessarily. Some people like the gameplay of FIFA. Not everyone cares about the licensed kits. FIFA's graphical power is great. I like both games as said, as they both offer very different things.

Gameplay is downright bad in FIFA...and graphics to some are better in PES...PES 2009 graphics look great to me.

the only thing good with fifa is the license. once you get past this there isn't much else imo. graphically pro is better but then they stiff you with a naff edit mode. even then its got better edit than fifa. also EA seem to make the players look funny, wierd shoulders and they all look physically similar. pro can make them look individual like between the size difference of huddlestone and wright phillips. i think kit editing is more important than having the licenses.

All comes down to personal preferences really. When I was younger playing FIFA 00-04 I really wanted licenses and as good graphics as possible, didn't care much about gameplay as long as I won. Then I tried PES with it's brilliant game play and haven't tried FIFA since 2004 (which was awful). Right now I think I'll purchase PES and not FIFA since I only can afford getting one them, but did consider FIFA for quite a while. Guess I'll wait for reviews and see what seems to be right for me.

Pes has been improved in this version. I'm talking about pes 09. It's so much better than 08. I don't agree with the statement that pes is not improving. It really is.

EA just doesnt care about their products man....if their product was so much better and they knew how to make the game they would not spend all that money on licenses but instead use that money to get more developers to work on the games.

i still think pes 08 is better than fifa 08... plays better fifa still feels like the players r on rails... this works in a hockey game... (+ what do canadians know about football??? last time they qualified for the WC was 86...)

its not so much as it being better but there was a stage where the only thing you could say was better about fifa was the licences... but now it seems as though konami have got a bit sloppy and have allowed ea to get within touching distance

Will have to agreed. Feels like you actually are doing a lot more of the moves in PES, while in FIFA you press a couple of buttons and the player does several things.

EA have done so much in just 2 years. From what Ive seen, Fifa 09 is much better than pro 09.

Gameplay is more responsive and realistic and the way players move also.

Answer me this, why do the players in pro evo move in square directions? Why does the ball not bounce like a real ball?

tbh, I m not expecting much from your reply because your name says it all. Even if fifa was to be 10 times better you would still say pes is better, being the fanboy you are. I was a pro fan up until fifa 08 came out because I accepted that fifa 08 was better. The ball curls, you can make place finishes where the bal l bends accordingly, whereas in pes, it just moves in a straight line. Also, you get those stupid situations in pes where the keeper saves the ball which goes a yard in front and a player taps in from 2 yards out. It's just too arcady compared to fifa.

This is all my opinion though so I suggest you think before you try and come up with a good insult.
