They're retards. I respect their opinion but it's not a wise thing to be a fifa fanboy and come to this forum and it's not fair to pes either.

I guess you guys haven't played much online because you meet some real pes dickheads, and I am sure these people would be happy to post in a FIFA forum slating EA's efforts.

It has been said many times before but I must echo the sentiments; does it really matter who produces the best game? as gamers we want the best possible from whichever house produces it first!

I can put my hand on my heart and say i'd rather play iron man on ps2 (worst game ever made) than ever have to buy a fifa game. Fifa is as rigid as a bone. Its so dull, slow and have you seen the replays? Every shot seems to go the same place on every replay if you aim it near the same area.

Completely true about why are people loosing faith just because pes 2008 was crap. There are so many reasons why it was crap like the ps3 wasnt out yet etc and they are all true but some people are completely blind to these FACTS and just simply think they didnt try when in reality they were going flat out but what the fuk do expect them to do whenb the console their making it for doesnt even come out!

If you're not willing to see both sides of this arguement you'll get nowhere. Fact is fifa isn't at all just about the licenses these days. I've you've read,played or even seen anything on 09, you'll know the gameplay is the main area they are working on. They have asked the fans what they want in the game. they haven't just assumed what the fans will want and threw it together as a game.

Fact is right now PES isn't looking like its progressed at all since the ps2 days. All that has changed is the graphics.

In MY opinion. PES09 IS an improvement over 08 but 09 is exactly what 08 should have been in the first place. So to put it lightly they haven't improved they are just catching up to where they should already be with PES.

I'll be giving both games a run for their money this year. However instead of buying PES straight away like years previous, i'll be renting it and then making an opinion on it and instead of renting fifa i'll buy it at the first opportunity. I've made a judgement from actual gameplay videos on 09 and i'm pleased to say im impressed. I spend my money on something that has been worked on properly, not something that isn't showing too many signs of progression.

By the way... that isn't fifa 08. Unless its the pre release shots with the united kit from the 07 season. United had the kit in your 09 picture in 08 aswell. Also Rooney was number 10 in 08.
