I bought this today when I went to Cash Maker and got a good deal for old games, took the money and went to HMV. I havent played it yet though, the heat is making me sweat buckets.

Itll be good to have another game to play along with CoD and UFC now, to help stretch them out more.

I've hardly stopped playing this since i got it and I have to say it is just brilliant.

The legacy mode is better than what is used to be, i find the training very had, especially the one where you have to move from zone to zone, the boxer doesn't move fast enough.

I started out as a middlewight and managed to to win the EABC title, i was asked if I wanted to move up a weight and did so, in the first fight i got a guy who was about a foot and a half taller and had a lot of extra weight on me, but i managed to knock him out in the first round somehow.

I am currently ranked 1 in the pound 4 pound ratings
I have just a belt (can't remember which) in the light heavyweight division, knocking out Joe Calzaghe in the 3rd round.

I have a great record so far, 51(49)-0-0

I do only have the game on Pro difficulty.

I heard you can download fighters made by others. I'd love it if there's bocing fanatics who make British fighters who didn't make the roster, eg. Naseem Hamed..

You can download boxers. Takes about 10 seconds. However, with created boxers, I have found you can't make them better than an 86 rated.

There are many boxers on there that are not on the game, some look really really good. Some don't. But you can filter the search for fighters that are rated higher by the people who've downloaded them etc.

There is also some silly ones on there, for example: Rocky, Apollo Creed, Barack Obama, Chuck Norris, Borat, Eminem etc. But the majority are real boxers.

I seen Em, Borat and Arnie and they werent half bad actually. Anyway, you all can enjoy the prospect of downloading my big fat useless brother ('Bulldog' Bozo Baz) to pound on, inside the next two days when I upload him.

I bought her yesterday and I havent played much yet, but I still not about 14 achievements and currently 13-0 in the middleweight division Legacy Mode, slowly climbing the ladder. I like the new Career set-up, as three's was repetitive and the whole Rival thing was quite stupid.

anyone who's any doubt atall, if you like boxing get this game! it's
fooking ace, and although i used the button bashing control type
in all the previous games, it deffo is better the new way once you
get into it. makes online mode awesome when the previous one
just pissed you off cos it was like everyone was on superroids.

and yeah, the share boxers feature is a fcking awesome idea. fill
in all the gaps in the major title scene in moments (even tho the
number of choices up there isn't as good as i'd like yet) and big lols
at some of them - eminem vs mr bean was a classic fight that i'll
never forget (mr bean won by ko in the 10th round)

Just been to the local Game and traded in 5 games I never play anymore, got £42 for them which I can't grumble at that.

So I got Fight Night Round 4 with that, didn't have to fork out any money Gonna have a go on this baby in a bit, can't wait to try out all the boxers.

I'll let you all know what I think.

Oh and btw, I recommend Game for trading in your games and that, whatever you don't play anymore get them sent down there lol. ;]

Just finished up using Iron Mike against Ali there and I have to admit it, that was the biggest pile of wank I ever put down in my entire life. This game is complete rubbish and nothing like they're building it up to be. I swear, after seeing the ads on the tele I was at least expecting it to be playable and was excited by the idea of finally using Tyson in a game.

The fighting system sucks and the punches suck when you land them. The knock outs are complete shit and the movement of the fighters is a rubber out at best. In fact I could go on to say another five million bad things about this game easy but I'll sum it up short and sweet.

I hate everything about it. (especially the false hype and lies)

What really destroys this game is the lack of face buttons punches.
Throwing punches with the stick is very inconsistent, anyone can move the stick like crazy and at the same time pull extraordinaire moves out, no skill involved.
EA needs to patch this game adding face buttons support like FNR3.

Also, the movement of the boxer is somewhat "stiff". FNR3 was "loose" in a good way.

Played it earlier, Legacy Mode, and I got fed up of trying to land organized combos as its hard to get the movement of the RS right every time, its like it has a mind of its own. So, I proceeded to just flick the stick non stop and put together a devastating combo. No skill involved. If anything its helpd the 'button bashers' who play the game.

Is it just me or is there now such thing as a lunging punch in this game?

I'm not brilliant at this game yet, not shit either (I don't think I am anyway :/) but I'd be very interested in taking on some of you and then finding out who is the PESGaming champion.

Face button control is coming out as a DLC, i hope its free though.

Anyone finding it easy to get the achievements? Okay, the 500 punches v the CPU isnt too easy but the rest are flying in.
