Just seen that one as well - don't really trust either of these sites :happy:
Quite enjoyed the demo - shooting seems a lot more reliable this year. Reviewers appear to "want" it be good - maybe they are being a little too nostalgic!!

Gameplay-wise, I can't see much changing. The major issues I have with the demo won't be fixed by the time the game comes round.

and they give PEs 13 8/10
so PES 13 is not improved enough to get a least 9

Excuse me, but the who the hell are you? Please show me said examples of all these posts. I have been a PES fan for a long time, and thus are entitled to my opinion over how shit I think the game has become.

Aye. You'd have thought I was going around every PES thread saying "omg pes iz shyt, y u buy dis crap?"..... but I haven't. I put across what I think is good about it, and what I think is bad. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good by an unacceptable amount for me, and for that reason, I'm oot.

the thing is you just know some reviewers will give PES an 8 because we have reached a point now where FIFA has to be the better game reguardless. an 8 for PES = a clear pathway for them so say FIFA is better.
i was impressed with FIFA this year. for me its the best 1 since FIFA 99
but PES 13 is a 9 minimum its a great game not a good game

Would you care to make a valid contribution to the thread at all?
In my view, Fifa is better than PES this year, but I'd still say that none of the games deserve higher than an 8. Compare these to other great games out there, that have been given 9's.... they're just nowhere near as good!
final number ratings means very little, games are to varied to be condensed into a number and pes is a very different game to say, assassins creed 3
the reviews matter, not the number. though obviously people just like to see the simplest thing and use that. like OVR in fifa and pes
