Flame Room

We need a flame room here.

A forum where you can sort shit out with another member. I aint a big flamer or anything, but it's entertaining to read. There's flame rooms at most forums I go to and it works well. So whatchoo say?

This place is active enough and there are enough conflicts here to warrant a flame room.

No, the flame room is a new section of the forum alongside off-topic, entertainment... etc.

If some guy is annoying you, you make a thread tearing him a new one in the flame room. He replies and that shit can be entertaining. It's also a place to let out steam, say you wanna rant about something you'd just make a thread about it in the flame room.

It stops people bitching and bickering at each other in different sections and gives members a chance to call out another member if they need a slap.

A forum of this size could really do with a place like that.

Not a bad idea I don't think, although I don't think it should warrant 'Posts'. So you don't get Newbie's just coming on and insulting each others mams 24/7.

Good point. It will be taken OTT and probably spill out into other forums. Wouldn't be pretty. Do it outside Insight - let's try and keep this place as clean (as possible).

Lol people are gonna bitch, moan and bicker whether you have a flame room or not. This way it all stays in one area of the forum.

Plus its mad entertaining to watch, and I know it sounds hard to moderate but it polices itself to a certain extent.

Surely if anything instead of a 'Flame Room' there should be more moderators to stop the bitching, moaning and bickering. The arguements should be prevented rather than encouraged.

It's a forum, arguments are entertaining. There is no point pretending to get along with somebody just for the sake of a pretty forum. If somebody pissed you off or you're annoyed by them spamming or whatever then make a thread about it. It doesn't even have to be about a member, it's a place to rant too.

I've seen threads in off-topic ranting about one thing or another, best to have a separate place to put all that sort of stuff.

Plus it actually keeps members in check. If somebody spams like fuck and gets called out for it, they're likely to stop.

I can see where you are coming from but on the topic of spamming that really is the job of the moderators who have been approved by the owners if the site, who are deemed to be fair and trustworthy, rather than anyone else who may just start arguements unnecessarilly.
