The new season start, very good at the moment in the league, with 8 consecutives victories. Henry is doing excellent, with 9 goals in 8 matches I think.
Not so good in the CL: Lost my first two matches (Benfica (0-1) and Roma (4-2), but then won vs Besiktas (3-1 and 1-3) and won vs Benfica (3-0, with two free kicks and a very good goal from Dinho). The standings are:
Barca 9
Roma 8
Benfica 7
Besiktas 2
I need to draw at least vs Roma, but will be very hard, Im sure.
Oh, James, thanks for Chiellini, awesome player. One of the best in the team, with 3 goals and 2 assist in 6 matches.

I started as QPR :mellow: But I normally use a good team to start with to get used to the new game, then do lower-league management when I get bored, a few months down the line. Instead of immediately launching myself down shit-creek headfirst

Anyone managing any international teams at the moment? I usually make another user and manage England alongside another manager/user managing a club, but haven't done it so far. Are you able to manage any lowly international teams on this FM?

Started a game with Dinamo Zagreb, they've got some surprisingly good players and a mostly young squad (avg age 24).
They start off with a balance of only 500k, so I organized a preseason cup with me, Chelsea, Roma, and Arsenal, my balance rocketed up to 1.8m, which was quite awesome. If you're a smaller club and need some money I'd recommend doing it.
Then Tottenham asked about Luka Modric and I told them I'd accept 7.5m, thinking that no one would offer 7.5m for a player worth 1.6, I forgot who I was dealing with though and sure enough a bid for 7.5m came in, my board accepted it for me. Bought some Croat youngster called Ante Rukavina, who has been superb so far in his place.

I finally got around to getting this game and i've start a game with Chelsea to have some fun with the new features.
I've been using default training for the first couple of months and I have a shit load of injuries at the moment, im getting 1 - 2 a week. And it's even starting to make me concerned with chelsea having a hundred midfeilders my stocks are low. Any way to reduce the number of injures?
Also every time i make a big purchase (i picked up Adraino for 31mill and Roman got the shits and purchased Sagnol for 17 mill) When the transfers went through they were for double the amounts. So i chewed up my entire budget on adraino pretty much.
I have the lastest Patch, is this a known issue?

- Fixed player rejecting contract due to contract length when they were offered the contract they required
- Fixed coach rejecting contract when they were offered the terms they asked for
- Fixed rare instance of player not accepting or rejecting a contract offer
- Co-ownership deals are now no longer always accepted after being negotiated
- Players are now even more less likely to accept a wage drop
- Added a few smaller contract tweaks
- Staff are now less likely to accept shorter contract lengths on the same wage

- Added read only unique id fields
- Added Is Covered and Has Undersoil Heating fields to Stadium Panel
- Fixed not being able to enter negative club balances
- Fixed swapping between Ascended/Descended sorting
- Number fields now auto select all text when tabbing to them
- Swapping two teams will now also swap their nation
You do need 7.01 though.

My main goals for the first season with Alfreton town is to get their finance balance over 50k which is hard as I only get like 200 people to every game and I want to finish 15th or better.
I'm playing alright at the moment, drew my first game 1-1 to one of the 'best' teams in the league, then I got smashed 5-0 at home to Worchester, then I beat Hydes or something 4 - 1, then lost to some shit team 3 - 0, then I beat one of the top teams I think 2 - 0 or something.
Signed a Jon-Paul Pittmann from Notts Forest, he is now Alfreton Town's highest ever goal scorer with 3 :laugh:
The most apperance made for them is like 26, and the most goals is 1 :huh:
They've been around 47 years and have never won a competition :mellow: Proper balls they are.

I was Alfreton. They have a pretty decent squad for Confrence North/South. But yeah its a toughy.
