I'm currently Atletico Madrid and exceeding expectations tremendously.
4 points clear at the top, and its the end of January. I beat Madrid 1-0 at the Calderon, biggest game of the season could quite well be at the Bernabau.
If I win the league, despite only saying I would try for continental finishes, is amazing to be honest.
Maxi has been great all season very consistant. Forlan was a god before his 3 month injury, and since coming back has only scored 3 in 7 or something, despite having more goals than games pre injury.
Aguero was voted as European player of the year, but like Forlan, got hit with a 2 month injury, should be back within a few weeks.
Luis Garcia and Reyes are tremendous impact players, and my 2.4M signing Lukasz Gargula, has been a rock in the holding midfeild role.
However, Simao and Motta have been garbage, loking to get rid of Simao next summer, not been impressing me at all. Which is a shame, hes one of my favourite players.
I signed Iago from Barca for 2.4M over 3 years, a good young player, going to try loan him out for a season or two. Get him some experience.
Overall, a tremendous season, beating Ruben 9-0 in my UEFA Cup group was brilliant, qualified and drew Heerenven(SP?), could be a tough game.

Won the league with 2 games to go, went the whole league season unbeaten, then ironically lost my last 2 games of the season, 2-0 at home to Getafe and 4-2 at Barcelona.
Beat Spurs 4-1 in the UEFA Cup final, Luis Garcia came off the bench to score a hat-trick. What a hero.
Signed Garay from relegated Racing, for just over 9m, Simao and Motta are definitely on their way out.
I've been offered Javier Saviola for 1.5m, however I dont know if I even want him, he'd only be backup, and I have Braulio and Reyes for that.
Maxi wants a move to Barca, might have to let him go sadly.
Looking for a quality left midfield player, though Garcia is definitely good on the left, I want someone who can call that side his own.
