Works fine for me too. I just don't like the 3D match engine. It's a nice feature to have, but, it's not needed.

Bit of a n00bish question but I have the same problem as Berry, how do I find out what my graphics card is?

Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Settings -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager -> Display adapters

Or:

Right-click the desktop -> Properties -> Settings tab -> Read the drop-down list which will read "<monitor name> on <graphics card>".

Or:

Start Menu -> Run -> Type dxdiag -> Press ENTER -> Display tab

Works fine for me. What's your graphics card?

My card is the ATI Radeon X600. It came with my machine when I bought it (Dell Dimension 5150). I'm pretty sure my card hasn't been changed all the time I have had this computer.

That's probably your problem right there.

From the website:

*Supported Chipsets - Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 or greater; Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater.
Earlier cards may only display 2D Match Viewer Mode and are not supported. Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported.

Damn, right thank you Don. Do you know where to get cheap graphic cards from? A card which will play FM2009 really good please. Not too much money either.

;)

Sorry :fplm:

Tough to recommend a graphics card in this instance because the power supply probably can't take much more than it is now and I've no idea what its capacity is.

Nevermind mate. I won't bother.

Hopefully websites will keep making updates for FM2008 even when FM2009 is released.

Fingers crossed, they will do. FM helps me out a lot, especially now I am in the iFL.

That from the demo Rossy? Some reason on mine no players have pics, is it to do with me downloading the England/Scotland demo?

Not a great start. Scored twice but both goals weren't counted. Checked the match report and it had no mention of the goals being disallowed, and said that the opposite team kicked off afterwards. :fplm:

I have to say I'm liking this, the new features seem really indepth. The in-game assistant help really does...well help.

So, started with Pompey, and after being told I had exactly 0m to spend :)mellow:) I had to do some deals. Selling off the unhappy Diop and Distin, along with the quite frankly shite Lauren, Traore, Kanu and Duffy. I raised about 20m (10m for Distin alone) spending that on Cana (7m) and Ducasse (3m) I felt happier with my squad, I need to make sure I secure Belhadj on a full transfer before time runs out. Nugent appears to be class, further proof it's just a game.

Starting with a mixed pre-season, finally beating Braga in the last game. I headed into the Community Shield with Crouch out injured (Damn you Braga!) then, well, this happened:

:shocking:

With Milan I have a transfer budget of £8m but am already over my wage budget. Makes life tough but I suppose it should be really. Had to get John O'Shea on loan  but believe I can snare Lavezzi from Napoli if I deem him a requirement.

My tactics from FM2008 didn't import correctly - be careful of this - so I'm going to have to tweak them where the instructions haven't come through properly.
