Started a new game a few weeks back after my saves went corrupt for some reason, now been in charge of Arsenal for 6 years. Didn't win anything for the first two seasons but have won a trophy every season since;

2012/13 - Nothing - Finished 4th
2013/14 - Nothing - Finished 6th
2014/15 - Won FA Cup - Finished 5th
2015/16 - Won FA Cup/Europa League/Community Shield - Finished 4th
2016/17 - Won FA Cup/Europa League/Community Shield/European Supercup/Capital One Cup - Finished 5th
2017/18 - Won Community Shield/Premier League - Finished 1st
2018/19 (Current season) - Won Community Shield so far.

Put my SS Lazio/Palermo game on hold for a while so I could play my older Kettering game. Things have been going well. In the past 2 seasons I have won back-to-back Premierships and Champions League as well as one Community Shield, two European Cups and one World Championship.

Been thinking about retiring from this game as I've kinda completed it apart from non-footballing things such as a higher balance, more feeder clubs, improved facilities and a bigger stadium.

It's been a good 14 years, 13 actually, the first season was spent on holiday!

Bale only cost £3m :huh: in most other games he tends to get sold to United or City after a season or two but he was still at Spurs till 2017/18 season! And Cesc cost me £9.75m, I would've got him cheaper but he joined Inter before joining me!


EDIT: Cesc just broke his ankle in a game against Nottingham Forrest, out for 2 to 3 months now!

All this big team talk is foreign to me, at least in the Football Manager sphere.

My Arles-Avignon side are currently 16th after 8 games in Ligue 2. Won two, drawn one and lost the other five - although four of those defeats have been 1-0. I've also already travelled away to AS Monaco and Racing Club de Lens.

Have brought in a bit of international flavour to the squad - signing a Croatian left-back, a Danish left back/midfielder, a Brazilian winger, a Malian centre-half, a German right-back on loan, a Moroccan youth striker and a young Cameroonian attacking midfielder.

Next up, I've got Auxerre away. This league seems to be full of sides that I am sure should be in the division above. I'll have to do it without my captain, too, who is suspended. Although given his name, I should've expected it.

Aspas was fanatastic for me. Dzemaili less so - I think I only got him on loan, because I had an injury crisis in whichever position he plays.

This also. People who buy FM games, and just play as the top 6 or 7 from England/Spain/Italy all the time are complete benders.

I'm just starting the third season of my game, and I'm looking forward to life in league 2 after finally getting Hereford back into the football league.

I grabbed his update, but the annoying thing is that it isn't compatible with a lot of the league extensions I have - and would usually use.

He has programmed promotions/relegations but only gone as far as the default league levels - therefore, try running extra German divisions and it breaks.

The update itself is pretty good, though, in terms of accuracy.
