So I'm Arsenal, thought I'd start one using a transfer update. The prospect of having Ozil in that midfield was enough to tempt me into it.

My squad going into season 2, new faces in bold:

GK: Woj Szcesney, Scott Loach, Dani Aranzubia

DF: Micah Richards, Carl Jenkinson, Nacho Monreal, Thomas Vermaelen, Laurent Koscielny, Neven Subotic, Kyriakos Papadopolos, Kieran Gibbs

MF: James McCarthy, Mikel Arteta, Mahamadou Diarra, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey

AMF/WF: Santi Cazorla, Oxlade Chamberlain, Andre Ayew, Ivan Rakitic, Mesut Ozil

ST: Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, Yaya Sanogo, Mason Bennett (16-year-old from Derby, thought I'd go for a Theo esque signing).

When I briefly took over as England manager in my Arsenal game in 2019, Mason Bennett was one of the shoe-ins for the squad.

Nice one, that's encouraging... I wouldn't have gotten him - or known of him - if my director of football hadn't made the move for him. At £3.2m, I was willing to pay it.

As soon as I signed him, his potential ability went up to 5*. He'll be 17 in about a month or so, and I'm just at the start of the season, so I think I'll give him a bitpart role in the team this season, and see how it goes.

And as for my first season in charge? Won the FA Cup and the Europa League. Failed to qualify for the Champions League group stage due to an away goal-related balls up but I'm chuffed to have brought the first UEFA Cup back to Arsenal since 1970.

After selling Diaby to Marseille for £4.5m, his value on the market now currently stands at ~£9m. :w00t

Hmm, I swear FM13 is horribly scripted. Whenever I appoint someone to find young players they always make a bid for Bennett.

Will Hughes is definitely a player you should go after!

Scouted Hughes and Derby were wanting ~£7m for him. Thought naaaah.

On 'deadline day' just now, been quite a successful one for Arsenal. Sold Giroud to Dortmund for £15m, then went into the market and pulled off Rodrigo for £15.5m from Benfica.

Director helped me land Azpilicueta for a cool £5.5m from Chelsea. Means Jenkinson has packed his bags and gone to Sunderland, sadly!

I was surprised that Azpilicueta was available, until I looked up Chelsea's squad... Rafael da Silva, Wallace AND Lichtsteiner to choose from for right-back! :jose:

Alt + F9 should be it. Then once you've done that, there will be a folder automatically created called 'screenshots' in the sports interactive>football manager 2013 directory.

This is my current team



In my first season i signed no one as i had a transfer budget of £0 and no extra wage funds. Shocked the whole of the league, fans and board by getting promotion through the play offs :)

First season in the Premier League I got Necid on loan for a season and he was the reason I stayed up! Guy is immense upfront, his record for me as it stands is


I signed Hughes and Zaha I think Mid second season. Zaha wanted to leave last season so i did for £8,000,000 to stoke then re signed him this season for £6,000,000 :mellow:

Won the F.A Cup last season and going strong in the Europa League and Premier league this season. Hopefully I can bring champions League to St Andrews :ninja:
