Alright chaps, here's the 411, Nifty and I plan on making an update for Football Manager 2007 including summer transfers, manager changes, promotions, relegations, updated reputations etc etc but obviously, we need some more peeps on board. They might be good - but a bit of competition never hurt anybody.
Plus, they chronically over-/under-rate lots of players. Now, I know that's always a subjective matter, but it'll be nice for the FM community to have two to choose from.
I remember the days when there were monthly FM/CM-updates by about 6 or 7 different groups all the time. This season it seems like no-one can be bothered.
EDIT (addition): I had an idea a while ago which I've been working on over the last few weeks (albeit a bit half-arsedly at present) which is to be the first update to incorporate a "All Players" facepack with it. This could really set it apart from other updates, even if it does make the file-size considerably larger.
I've always wanted to be able to have a picture of every player in the game. Obviously, this isn't possible, but trying to get as close as possible couldn't hurt. I'll happily dedicate a large part of my time to doing this, no help required.
Once I get going, I'll be able to realistically see if I can help out with other aspects as well. I've got a ridiculously large amount already, the idea being to collate all facepack pictures into one giant mega-pack with ALL the players in the game included.
