Well you read the title and yes i do sound mad but im not.
First i must state im a mad footy fan!
My DAD played with pele, di steffano, beckenbouer and others in his career. i sadly persued basketball because i was allways tll for my age but now im 24 i regret not playing soccer more.
Anyways I want to do this! i want to make a footy game for the PEOPLE for the FANS for the MANIACS and for MYSELF.
It can be done!!!
It will envolve Lots of money
it will envolve lots of time
it will envolve heart, desire and dedication
it will envolve anyone who wants to help.

For now please tell me your thoughts about this, we shouldnt have to put up with this! fifa and pes are good games but they are not going to get to where we wont them 4 another 5 - 6 years i reckon. lets make our own game and smash them into the ground. Whos wit me?

Ok guy-going-nuts....

My brother is into gaming development. It takes millions of dollars to make a engine and then build on that. How on earth are you going to find skilled programmers who are crazy enough to do that? you will need millions of dollars.

i think you are overreacting a little. Just wait the news

i have connections! all you need is a plan and a bit of desire to achieve your goals.
seriously i have 2 people i know who are millionaires. i dont know how many spare millions they have but a decent game on the market could make a crazy amount of money. What about this is football? or actua soccer what happend to them games? who developed them? im sure you could get their engines and work from their maybe. if not start from scratch who cares. seriously if you address all the issues we want changed everyone would love to buy the game. konami and fifa are lazy and are happy sharing the market. fug them i say!

That would be cool.. but it seems highly Impossible. That would have to be one ri$h Football fan -but- it would be funny to see some Bill Gates dude releasing a better game than either PES or FIFA.

Anyways, nowadays there are plenty of possibilities, for example if Millions of fans send $5 to one place in order to pay for the game's production cost..

Ive been saying this since april. I jjst say we go into myspace etc and get konami to see that were going to make our own game which will emphasize to konami just how annoyed were getting, that we have to make are own game cos their doing are heads in

i am so serious about making a game. im working out how im going to get some money together and ill work out a basic layout of what i want in the game.
ill have to outline the game and what im trying to acheive and present it to whoever maybe interested in investing in it. then go to a game developer and get them to make it. it will be hard and it would take like 1 - 5 years to make the game depending on how pollished it is. but ive been playing soccer sims for 15 years now and i know exactly what i want in a game. its unlikely it will happen though but ill try.

wouldn't be done. u couldnt even dream on getting licences, if fifa only giv pro 2 licensed english teams how would u get them. i see your dream but its daft. but if you was to call it....SOCCER WITH SCUM,,,, 2 lads fighting on the pitch on the cover. i could make it.

does it have to be licenced? pro evo/iss didnt have any for years. All ya need is an editor.
the leagues id have are:
engish epl, chapionship, league 1 and 2
scotish pl and div 1
spain 1 and 2
serie a and b
holland 1 and 2
germany 1 and 2
sweden div1
denmark div 1
ireland div 1
turkey div 1
basically all the nations leagues that can qualify for the chapions league. but have the main ones like england, holland, italy, scotlan, spain, france with 2 or more divsions. then same with the south american teams. as long as te game is playable and has good fundamentals and intriguing it should form a good enough base for others to custermise how they like i.e rosters/ teams squads, players, teams, league names, music.
i can get this done trust me the more i delve into this the more ideas i have plus i firmly beleive if their is support for this game ill put effort into it.
what do you think?

I think it sounds great, but it doesn't sounds profitable.. It would have to be for the shear challenge of producing a proper Football Sim -rather- than making money.

If you want, I could send you a List full of Ideas..

i dont want to make money i just want it to break even so i dont waste any money but it will take alot of time. but once the first one is produced its just a matter of fine tuning it the next year and getting it perfect and then it should make money. what i ideally want is to make a game for the people, the die hard fans, have all the things they want in it take your ideas and build it "THE PEOPLES FOOTBALL SIM"

I think a Football Sim should be many things.. but I don't have the Time to start elaborating on Ideas right now. However, I will send you a list of what I think a Football Sim should be, you read it, and then tell me what you think.

By the way, I don't know exactly when I will do the List, it'll probably take me a week or so. But I would like to help (if only slightly) in making "The People's Football Sim" happen. No Licenses, just brilliant Gameplay, what a Football Sim should be.

I know it is impossible.. but I'd like to share my Ideas with you because maybe you'll find some of them interesting.
