So ManUre are going to have Smith as their only main striker for the next few weeks?
It appears so..not exactly a goal machine himself...I wonder how well he's gonna step up to the challenge?

:D Not bad. I can't see Alan "Leed's through and through" Smith setting the world alight.

Do they not have bellion?

Forlan was shite anyway. I still cant believe his miss on the last day of the premiership last season. Missed from half a yard.

Bellion is very, very poor. All he has is pace.

I agree!! FINALLY he leaves..!.. Then we can finally see what class-player he really is.. He's going to play with Riquelme now.!. That's nice.. Forlan will show that he isn't a bad player, but actually the opposite! Just wait mates!

He will probably do well at Villarreal, where he can link up with riquelme and jose mari (if they are still there!?). The slower pace of the Spanish game will suit him better, so he will have more time on the ball to show us his 'genius'.

Good riddance.

We're the only team he scores against the little bastard. Ah well, its fun watching how shit he is against everyone else.

Surely United can cope with Scholes behind Smith for a few weeks. They've managed with Fergie behind Roy Keane for enough seasons . . .

They're a striker short, though. Mind you, they practically were even when Diego was present.

What's with all the Forlan-bashing?

Doubt his goalscoring instincts and goal records all you want, but he has undoubtable talent. He's got pace, good vision for a striker, powerful strike with both feet, a great first touch. He's just not a poaching centre-forward or an all-out speedster like you English prefer your strikers to be. Forlan should do great playing with Riquelme, Jose Mari and Sonny Anderson. It's a good transfer for all parties involved.

But he lacks the most inportant thing for a striker. It's to score :D He only played good in a game with the Glasgow Rangers.

He's terrible.8mil for a player who scores on average3 goals a season?! Have you seen him play for united he's utter shite, he manages to fuck up nearly anything that comes his way..

I'm glad he's gone, just not good enough to play for United, but I've got some good memories of the little fella, just ask the Liverpool fans!

LOL! you Arsenal fans can't say shit about Forlan! OOOO 10 million pound Francis Jeffers was sooooo prolific its unbelievable! OH MY GOD! one season he actually scored 6!!!!!
