Is anyone else getting the issue in ML where the report after a match says that one of your players has mastered a particular skill, but when you check them afterwards they haven't?

I get this very frequently. Is it just a text error and is supposed to say that they are currently learning that skill? I wonder if it's that because I don't see the "working on / learning" messages in PES 2017 and they used to be fairly common in PES 2016.

And to be fair, if they were learning them at the rate I see the messages, then I'd have a ridiculously talented squad in no time. LOL

Have not even checked, but I have seen those messages, just not verified them.

It was confusing me for a while as well, what the messages actually mean is that the player can now be trained in that particular skill, thy don't automatically gain that skill

The player's stats will have improved and that allows him to be trained in that skill

That makes sense now and actually makes the message useful.

I had a striker that I wanted to learn the heading skill. Up popped the message and I thought "yay". Then I checked his skills list and it wasn't there and I though "boo". Then the option to train a new skill via the training popped up and I avoided training him in Heading because I thought that he might be already doing that in the background. LOL

So this is really useful info. Thanks.

I found this out the hard way too. The wording of the message is pretty misleading I think. It makes you think the player has learnt the skill but I kinda worked out through experience that it means they have gained the required stats to be able to learn the skill in skills training.

I now have Kanu learning the heading skill

Thanks for the info :) I also thought it was that the player has already achieved the skill but haven't checked it either.
