Who is your free-kick king?

I've gone for Del Piero, love the technique he has, and more often than not you hit the back of the net if your OK at free-kicks.

Zico. Or Mihajlovic if you mean modern players.

Recoba is one of the best in the game, however if you consider Classic players as well Zico and Maradona are probably the best.

Mine is Thierry Henry, although that's mainly because I am Arsenal 95% of the time, so get a lot of practice taking free-kicks with Henry. Van Persie is usually very good at them when he is in the team. Often, I let him take them instead of Henry when they are given in dangerous positions around the box. But i've scored the majority of free-kicks with Henry.
I have also found Cristian Chivu excellent at them, but that is using my improved stats for him
Generally, I find left-footers better at free-kicks. Recoba, Roberto Carlos, Mihailjovic, van Persie, van der Vaart, Chivu etc all take mean free-kicks,

If i'm in ML with updated player stats then my Martin Cranie has developed a pretty mean free kick. But enough plugging the man. In normal game modes i go for either Pirlo, Henry or Nedved.

i would probably go with Henry to be honest as i score quite a lot with him....
but on my ML i have Baumjohann well improved which i prefer...

Yea I have Baumjohann on my Master League also, gets to high 80's and low 90's on all four Free Kick stats, so I usually whip them in with him.

I have to say Nakamura. I score 8/10 with free kicks. But I never shot them over the wall. Always hitting after the corner where the keeper is standing. Keeper never moves, and the ball is in the net

Beckham for me. I think it takes a while to get the aim/power right, but once you've sorted that they seem to just fly in. Check out my two David Beckham free-kicks in the Goal Gallery for proof!

Why not Giggsy? He's pretty decent.

Well seing as tho i use man utd, i use giggs but he isn't as consistent as beckham, With beckham you know exactly what power to put on the ball in order to clear the wall or get it close, and only a few times does it do something bad, but with giggs it can be abit hit and miss with the power, like i remember having 2 free-kicks in similar posistions and the first one i put just over half-power and it hit the wall, then i had another which i put just under half and it saild over the bar! but player form arrows obviously effect it. And alot of the time i sometimes don't time it right and i get the power wrong, so i add more power on and it goes up too much. but when you get the power right with beckham first time everything kinda just 'clicks' and its usualy a good kick.

On PES Bojinov, Farfan + Robbie Carlos are my main dead ball takers. They're the only ones I've scored free kicks with so far.
