Quite sure this will not be possible. You can transfer datas between multiple PES 2017 owners, but not between different versions of the game.

In the past, especially in ps2 days, copying data from last years version was possible. So, why shouldn’t this be possible on this generation?

Different system, mate. And even if we supposedly can, there's no Teams Export/Import feature in 2016.

Different system, mate. And even if we supposedly can, there's no Teams Export/Import feature in 2016.

Of course it is a different System, but in Edit file the the edited players etc will be stored in some kind of database. It is not impossible to programm a routine that grabs the data out of this "old" database.
Team Export feature is not necessary for this - was also not available in PS2 days:

E.g.: in PES 5 you could import several things out of PES 4 savegame and non of this games had team export / import feature ;)

In the end it does not matter, because i doubt Konami will implement this feature again, was lost in last generation.

1024x1024 aprox 1000 kits -> 333 teams (1xGK, 1xHome and 1xAway)
2024x2024 aprox 500 kits -> 166 teams

I wonder if the space issue is the same as last year.
It would be nice, if Konami would reserve separate space for each category of images (managers, kits, emblems, stadium pics etc.) this time.

Thank you, I did. If I will do just comp logos, teams' emblems and kits @ 1024x1024 , I should have enough space to edit all teams, right?

No license teams actually is 137 teams (clubs) and maximum national teams no license 81 (all national teams). I dont know national teams licensed, only Brazil, France and Germany.

Sorry my bad english, i am czech.

But KONAMI said up to 1000 if resolution at 1024x1024 and that is around 333 teams. Still NO?

Yes, 1000 only kits - no logos, managers, stadiums

As you do not need 1000 kits to equip all unlicensed teams with with proper kits (gk, home, away), there should be enough space to import all competition logos, club emblems, team managers and stadium pics.
In the end you will be able to equip some of the teams with 2048x2048 kits as well or with 3rd and or 4th kit ;)

Ok thank you, that is what I thought. If KONAMI being honest about editing space available then it will compliment the gameplay. Fingers crossed;)

Ok, so how many unlicensed teams in the game that we can actually edit?

Here is a rough calculation which i think will be realistic:

You don't have to worry about the amount of slots...

As far as I know , there are slots for 1000 kits. I think, it's enough for all the missing kits, at least home, away and GK:

Premier League: 20 teams, 2 licensed teams -> 18 team kits to create: 54 kits
Championship: 24 unlicensed teams -> 24 teams kits to create: 72 kits

Ligue 1 and Ligue 2: completely licensed

Serie A: 20 teams, only two unlicensed teams -> 2 team kits to create: 6 kits
Serie B: 22 unlicensed teams -> 22 team kits to create: 66 kits

Eredivisie: completely licensed

Primera Division: 20 teams, 2 licensed teams -> 18 team kits to create: 54 kits
Segunda Division: 22 unlicensed teams -> 22 team kits to create: 66 kits

Liga NOS: 18 teams, 2 licensed teams -> 16 team kits to create: 48 kits

Liga Brasileirao: completely licensed
Liga Argentina: completely licensed
Liga Chile: completely licensed

League PEU (example: for Bundesliga): 20 teams -> 60 team kits to create
League PLA (example: MLS): 20 teams -> 60 team kits to create
League PAS (example: J-League,...): 20 teams -> 60 team kits to create

(several teams of different leagues already in-game -> reduces number of kits to create)

National teams: 83 teams, +/- 10 licensed teams -> 73-75 team kits to create: 225 kits

Summary:
225 + 60 + 60 + 60 + 48 + 66 + 54 + 66 + 6 + 72 + 54 = 771 kits

ML fake teams: ca. 30 unlicensed teams -> ca. 90 kits

=> 771 + 90 = 861 kits to equip all unlicensed in-game teams

Then we still have around 140 kits for third kits or second GK kits.

So I think, it's better to create kits with a higher resolution of 2048x2048.

So i would say, it will be about 285 teams unlicensed.

If the ratio for emblems, Logos or managers in comparisson to a kit is about 1 to 8, you will need space for about 65 kits to equip all teams with emblems and managers and all competitions with logos.

It was 1 to 10 last year I think. What about hidden fake teams that appear in ML - editable? Thanks for reply mate, it puts some hope in my heart that PES will be fun to play this year;)
