Hi lads, been a good while since I've been on, finally found my love for the game again.

My problem is, I've just loaded up my PES2013 after having a good go on it last night playing BAL. Loaded up my game (PS3) and it's going back into standard scart TV definition, rather than 1080p like always.

Just wondered if someone else has had the same problem? I was just playing Lag Ops 2 there in 1080p via the same HDMI cable. Seems like a PES fault.

Don't want to be a pain but I can't play on standard definition, not after enjoying myself recently with the game in 1080p.

When I go back to the XMB, it goes back into 1080p.

Any help would be appreciated! :rolleyes:

Sorry, must be 720 then lol, but maximum settings on every game, besides PES. That seems to jump back to scart settings. Seems a mystery to me. Tried uninstalling, and re-installing the software from the game also, to no avail.:unsure:

If you look on the back of the box it says 720 is the max I'm pretty sure. I have loads of games that switch to 720 probably more than those that support 1080 so I'm used to the screen switching all the time :D

I can tell it's went from the highest settings that was used yesterday to the scart, the screen is all that fuzzy way lol. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get it back. When I press the PS button to see the XMB it's also massive! Like standard settings before I ever had a HDMI tele. Soon as I turn the game off, all the menus go back to HD. Crazy!

That sounds like it is dropping down to 540, don't know what could be causing it though sorry. Hopefully someone else will know the answer ;)

EDIT: Fixed it! Was my PS3 settings, I was messing about with a spare TV last night to see if it would work on the before passing it on to someone. Had the settings looking for 1080p automatically, when, as you said, it only supports 720p. Cheers paul2478.

But seriously, double posting once ain't bad. I just let it slide if it's just a one off. It's the people who keep doing it that deserve punishing/warning, and the idiots who quintuple post!
