Hi, i have just got pro evo 13 on the PS3, loving it, BUT!!!...when i am playing and the players are up close to the screen, the edges of them look blocky, kinda like minecraft, if i sit like 10ft away its normal. my tv is running the ps3 through an HDMI cable, it is a 47" LG 3DTV..any clue as to why this is happening? i have made sure the ps3 display settings are correct and even fiddled with things like tru motion and the rest in tv settings.. i took it round my sisters who has a 32" HDTV and it looks smooth as anything where mine doesn't, my TV cost twice his and it is coming out worse? arghh!!

Are you sitting the same distance away from both TVs?

The image on the 47" TV will be "stretched" far more than the 32" TV which will cause you to see jagged edges etc. up close.

I bet you're going to tell me that it was fine for PES 2012 :tongue:

i never bought 2012 it was shit! yes i am sitting the same distance from both tv's...just thought that it wouldnt be as bad as it is, shockingly bad considering what we pay for it, all ps3 games should be 1080p by now ffs! joke..not buying 2014 i know that.. not unless its 1080p

It depends on the tv itself. My samsung displays images beautifully, games and movies and its a 40". My buddys 52" sharp looks like shit and games lag on it. It depends on the tv not the game. Research best tvs for gaming before u purchase a tv.

Also, his tv is top of the line sharp quattros and way newer than mine. Dont let marketing fool you. I will only buy samsung
