Gears Of War [360/PC]

Quick question lads........

Is there any way you can add CPU Cogs and Locusts when your playing a Versus mode (local not online)? There doesn't seem to be a way that you can add CPU characters to your team. Any ideas?

after all the talk in this thread i went and got the game and i must say it is brilliant the game is not the sort i would buy but i did and am glad of it. just in the temple and where you have to get that bloody great thing to follow you out side where you can kill it.

I was playing this game today at a mates house and really enjoyed it, I'll be getting a 360 soon and reading in this thread the on-line part of the game is also good so I think I'll be having a buy.

Nope, no bots unfortunately.

Just started playing in co-op mode this week. It's so much fun. I peek around a corner only to see a grub in front of me... suddenly his head explodes! I look back and there's Dom with smoke coming from the barrel of his magnum... quality!

Played it today for over an hour and it was excellent, of course it took me a couple minutes to get used to the controls and that but when I got the hang of it all, I was chewing bubble-gum and kicking ass.

I like that weapon, whats it called again 'Hammer of Dawn' ?

What a fantastic game def the best shoot em up ive ever played, all the characters are brill and i love the way you can hide behind things.

Didnt really enjoy the level when you have to drive the car with that light thing on top though

It's not a really great ending, but it's decent enough. It leaves the door open for a sequel.

I thought the final battle could have been tougher/more enjoyable. I couldn't beat him on my first few attempts, as I was using a shotgun and grenade launcher which take too long to reload, but once the machine gun is used, you can fire dozens of shots at his head, and kill him quite easily. I was expecting loads more enemies to come forward for one final onslaught, but it finished quite abruptly. Still, doesn't deny the fact it's one of the greatest games ever created.

There's going to be 3 games in the series from what I've heard. Unfortunately no pc version

Yeah, I can't quote the source, but I'm 99% certain they said a pc version has been scrapped.

this game rules im on casual diffculty but im definately going to try insane or hardcore the graphics are great gameplay too i think it would be cool if you could download more act's from the marketplace
